1) Do you keep things in the same place in the fridge - do you have certain shelves designated for certain items?
I keep the same stuff on the DOORS of the fridge, or in the drawers. As for the rest of it, it goes where it fits!
2) How often do you clean out the fridge?
I try to "go through" the fridge each week before trash day and eliminate fuzzy things. I find that if I keep up on it, I find stuff that got shoved to the back that I can use before it goes bad. But I'm pretty bad about taking the fridge all apart and cleaning it. Usually a SPILL has to happen first
3) Do you prefer freezing in plastic containers, or bags?
Depends on what I'm freezing. I put meats in bags or freezer wrap. Soups and sauces go in containers.
4) What works best for labeling freezer containers?
I have found NOTHING better than sharpie markers. I even use them on containers because I can scratch the ink off later. I have sharpie stashed everywhere, but hidden, so the 2 year old can't get to them
