Kitchen Counters

What do your kitchen counters look like?

You cant find my counter most of the time because it is covered on one end with a baby bottle rack for DD and then I usually have clean dishes in the drainer that need to be put away.

I have no counter space in my kitchen so the stove usually holds the dirty dishes until after we eat.

I hear ya there.
The home we are renting is a darling home.
But the kitchen is smallllllllll.
Which I am not used to. I too, have to put the dirty dishes on the top of the stove because I have no counterspace.
I used to have a kitchen where I could roll out 5 pies easily and still have room for dishes and mixers. So little kitchen is definiteyly a downfall here.
Love a big kitchen with counterspace.
However- I cant make as many messes either.

I dont have much counterspace but lots of stuff on them.

Toaster/convection oven (fairly large) blender, coffee pot, canisters, banana tree cutting boards....Actually thats probaly not to much but when you have a small kitchen it seems like it.
I have gotten in the habit of putting away as soon as I get done washing as I cant stand the clutter! We are in discussions of getting a new dishwasher however we will have to tear out a cabinet underneath so it may be a big undertaking!
