Frugal Cure for Nausea

Frugal Cure for Nausea

This is very similar to the expensive OTC formulas for nausea.

1 cup orange juice
8 teaspoons lemon juice
4 teaspoons white corn syrup
crushed ice, to equal one pint

Mix ingredients and pour over crushed ice.
Take one tsp every fifteen minutes.

I have not tried this yet to give a review but it sounds a whole lot better than some of the other OTC stuff!

Thank you Tami I carry nausea pills with me all the time. My tummy is super sensitive. So will copy this down and keep it for next bout of upset tummy.

You're Welcome! If you try this, please let us know if it works. I am always on the search for something that my kids will take when the stomach bugs start up (always right after school goes back).

Tami

That sounds like just a good drink to drink. I don't suffer from nausea but a co worker had to go through chemo this year ( breast cancer) and we learned a few things talking amongst ourselves. One girl while pregnant swears by Ginger candy drops. Ginger interferes with the drugs given with chemo so not a option there but if you are pregnant or not doing chemo a good option.

I also made up ginger scented candles for this friend who had the cancer... she said it did help a little. Not ginger bread types, strictly ginger scented.

I've heard that if you smell newsprint it will ease nausea. Some old wives tale for morning sickniess.
