| Kid Made Strawberry Ice Cream
1 quart fresh strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
pimnch of kosher salt
1 1/2 cups buttermilk, full fat works best
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
Clean and hull the strawberries and out them into a large bowl. Add sugar and salt. Mash and crush the fruit with a potato masher and combine with the sugar. Stir in buttermilk and cream and combine well. Freeze in an ice cream maker.
Called kid made because you use a hand crack ice cream maker and put them to work!
