Good campfire or grill recipe for kids to make when you're sitting around the camp fire or back yard grill..................~~1 banana~~1/4 cup of chocolate chips~~1/4 cup chopped nuts~~1/4 cup of raisins~~1/2 cup mini mashmallows~~1 sheet 12 x 12 inches heavy duty aluminum foil................... 1. Slice the whole banana--skin and all--down the middle from tip to tip, but only cut partway through. Place it cut-side up on the aluminum foil. 2. Spread open the banana slightly so it looks like a canoe. Stuff it with the chocolate chips, nuts, raisins, and mini marshmellows. 3. Squeeze the sides back together and gently wrap the whole thing in the foil. 4. Place the foil-wrapped banana boat atop burning ambers or a hot grill. Cook about 10 minutes. 5. Have a grown up remove the banana and open the foil being careful of steam escaping. If the chocolate and mashmellows are not melted, place it back on fire/grill a little longer. 6. When melted slide the packet onto a plate and eat the banana boat right from the foil pouch.
