This is an alternative to actual cinnamon rolls. After several attempts to make cinnamon rolls faster, I came up with this recipe.
I did try using can biscuits by punching holes in top with fork. I did this before baking and twice during baking. Then ice when biscuits are done. It worked ok, but this recipe is easy, fast clean-up, great smelling kitchen and smiles all around.
What you need:
Loaf Bread slices (1 slice per person or more if want )
Cinnamon-Sugar
Butter
Canned icing (cream cheese or vanilla icing)
What to do:
Spread butter on bread slices
Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar
Toast bread in oven until done.
Take out of oven and spread toast with canned icing.
Place on plates and eat!

*Note: I have used all types of bread, white, potato, wheat and others, your choice.
