What do your grandkids call you?

My grandbaby is just now turning one, but I have asked that we be called "granny & grandpa". That's what I called my closest grandparents, and I loved them dearly, so the granny/grandpa thing doesn't make me feel "old" (I'm just 40)...it makes me feel special.

My children all call my Mother regular "grandma". I have 6 grandchildren and they all call me "Grandma O" (my last name initial), as they also have a "Grandma W"... We on the other hand called my Grandparents when they were living "Mammy" and "Pappy"- and I sure miss calling out their names! They were the best.




I have a new Granddaughter that should arrive any time now(within a few hours...). Maybe she will have another name for me-LOL! Time will tell...

IT'S A GRANDDAUGHTER!!!

She has arrived!! April 22, 2004. Time: 5:20 pm Her name is Makynzi Lynae (my middle name is Lynne, and my Grandpa's was Lyn-so it was for us both). She weighed in at 5 lbs. and 15 oz, and is 18" long. I haven't gotten to see her yet, but am going tomorrow. I will take some pictures then. It's so hard to believe my "baby" daughter now has a baby... She will be 22, but is still a baby to me! I will let you know when I get some pics, and figure out how to post( have never done it on here yet...). I will figure it out though.

My neice calls her Grandparents "Oma" (Grandma) and "Opa" (Grandpa). They are from Europe - but I am not sure what country I think the names are cute though...

the way you would post pictures would you go to the bottom of page and you hit post like you going to post
then go past the screen... and you will see where it says browse and click that, it will take you over to your file where your pictures are. and you go to the file where you pictures are files, probably under
(My) pictures... and you click onto the picture and then hit open
when you do that it will take a set of numbers over to that window where it browse is...as it will read C:/documents and setting and give the numbers. then when you hit the submit like you would when you are ready to post your reg. post and wow your picture will appear.
Now if it reads to big... sorry I can't help you there for I've seen not figure that one out.

I know having our own kids are special, but there is something super special when we are holding our grandkids in our arms.

I appreciate it bar-bar! Tomorrow when I get home if I get time I will try it out, if not Sunday for sure. They video taped the birth and took a lot of pictures with a regular 35mm. I am taking my digital with me too- I like seeing my pictures right away!!!
