Hi everyone--I don't know what happened!! I wrote a post and just some of the line came up and then I just got cut off! So I'll start again. Wow that's a nice idea for Maryann to postsome new ideas! I know I could use some new ideas for Christmas goodies. I'll be looking forward to seeing them. It would be nice if for the next couple of weeks if everybody posted something. Then we'd all have some new/good ideas. It doesn't have to be only about baking, any idea about some special thing you do at Christmas. Oh Pattie before I forget I like crackers with my chili ! lol--My dad made a great chili-he put chicken in it. I can remember when I was a child I thought he made the most awesome chili. Not much going on here today,kind of a down day.Getting freezing rain,yuck would rather have the snow.Got the ornaments done for kids and grandkids,now working on a SNOW thingy,not sure what you would call it,maybe a sign but the letters are seperate and they have Snowman on them.Hubby was nice to cut them out of wood for me.So going to get that finished,have parcels to get out tomorrow.Off to Dryden,have to go see the doc about my eyes again,they have been bothering more than usual.

Thanks yes sore throat is much better. Dreary day here too but not all that cold. Been making cookies and messing in kitchen TOTALLY alone as Judy has been over with Gina helping her decorate for Christmas not me toooooo early in my opinion. Will do that around T-Day. Boys in school so had nice peaceful time to bake, read etc. You gotta try the crackers with your chili lol its yummy. Guess we will have left overs tonite spaghetti, chili, meat loaf, mac & cheese etc in fridge and I want to clean it out hope to go to commissary tomorrow or Friday. Take care all

Hi All-It happened again. I wrote a post and I just got cut off and post gone!! This happened yesterday to. Oh well ---It rained all day today. Both grandkids are a lot better today. I'm happy about that! Felt very lazy today, guess the rain made me feel like this. Had a quick and easy meal tonight--meat loaf, mashed potatoes. gravey, corn, and beets. Everybody ate good so it must have been good or maybe they were all just extra hungry. lol--Theresa let us know how you make out at the doctors tomorrow. Patti, you were a busy bee making cookies. What kind did you make today? I was thinking about baking cookies but that's as far as I got-just thinking about it-- really was just a dull kind of day.--I guess because of the rain. Happiness......
I think there is a "post stealing gremlin" on FC has happened to me 2 times already today. Hope it does not this time.
The cookies are called Chocolate Mint Creams. They were pretty good but Steven does not like mint cookies or oatmeal ones BUT you can bet your last penny Adam will have no trouble eating his share and Steven's lol. But have some stashed

Gee Patti you are proberly right about that gremlin! LOL--Are Adam & Steven your grandsons? How old are they? The sun is shining today! It's going to be a beautiful day. My whole family loves mint cookies. I'm the odd ball, I don't like mint or peanut butter cookies. Love oatmeal cookies, so send some of your stash over here!!! LOL Have a great day everybody!
