Caroline sounds like you got some good grandchildren of which to be proud of. Patti i know you proud of yours and Trish, welcome too. I'm sure you are probably the best thing in your grandson's life. Of this he will never forget he had a roof over his head when he had no one. God bless you for being there.

Yes, We're all proud of our grandchildren and have every right to be! Wednesday my 13 year old gs made his Confirmation. It was a beautiful church service for the young men and ladies. Afterwards we all went out to eat. It was a very nice time. Yesterday I went to my 6 year old Gd's Hoedown at school. Oh! The kids were so cute! This is the 20th year the school has put this on. This has been a busy week. Tomorrow dh and I hope to get some Christmas shopping done. Monday will be grocery shopping for Thankgiving. My son, dil and family always go to bil's for Thankgiving and Christmas here. So it will be dd, 3 grandchildren, dh and I. Same as every other day but with lots of special things to eat!! Take Care and everyone have a great weekend!! Hugs to All......

Teresa our Christmas meal will not be as big as Thanksgiving's was. I simply can not stand to do it all. I think we will have Ham and a few of the sides.
Adam & I were out and about today he did not have to work. He is not sure about tomorrow yet.
Take care all

Tue night the youngest gd was in a christmas program at school, and the gson was involved with scouts. Oh, how I wished I could of been at the scout meeting, but had already promised Hanna I would be there.
THe gson cubmaster helped us moved. I showed him a spirit log that lit the first campfire from the troop that my son and John went on with the new troop they formed back yrs ago now. LOL, anyways when I saw the Johnathan's cubmater the log, he liked it. I told him since John is no longer with me, and my son didnt' want it, that if he would like to have it he could. He was thrilled to have it, and on the spur of the moment he used that log for to lit the pack meeting. Johnathan help lit the candle for this log that has now been passed from one troop to a cubpack. I was honor that he liked it so much.
Now John can be part of his grandson scouting life, along with his uncle, (my son)

hope to go to some of Johnathan's pack meetings now since I do not have college to go to.
