Opening Birthday Cards

Do you open birthday cards as you receive them, or save them until your special day?

LOL, my dad has amazing willpower and will save all his cards until his birthday. We were teasing him about this!

A little of both.... Many friends and Family write "do not open until" on the envelopes and it is sort of like a mental game for me to see how long I can leave the card(s) closed until my birthday (or DH's b-day /holiday). Otherwise I open them immediately, read them, and display them until my b-day day is over then I stack them in my scrapbook pile / drawers. :-)

Love birthday cards, especially the home made ones, they are special and uplifting. Better than e mail cards, although I like those too.

I open them as I get them. A lot of mine arrive late, maybe because my BD is close to the beginning of the month of April and usually near Easter too. I pretty much just think of it as celebrating my BD all month and display the cards until May. (My dh's BD is only 11 days before mine and I'm usually tired of cake by the time it is my BD.)
