Dad is finally at home. HOORAY!
My sister Jamie said he had a good night. His dog Rosie wasn't too keen on sleeping in bed with him, but its a hospital bed so I can see why, its different than the one he had before.
I guees he was kind of nervous about his first night at home. manuevering around and all.
He will get used to it.
My sister needs to get into the same routine he had at the nursing home so that he ges his meals and meds on time.
Shouldn't take too long to figure out.

Donna Marie, I am very sorry for this latest turn, you must be so tired poor girl! We are here for you even when you cannot post and are always thinking of you and jOhn. Try to enjoy the time in Bar Harbor if you go. Will he eat chocolate?

Joy, I hope you get the job at the nursing home even though it is a long shot, maybe they want some new blood and ideas.

Coll, glad to hear your dad is home!

Ellen, when I first got DGS, he was talking in 2-3 word utterances and babbling. Now, he is talking in complete sentences. I watched videos of his speech therapy from February and there is a HUGE difference. Good luck on the biology stuff. Better you than me. LOL

Donna Marie, so sorry John isn't eating again. If taking him out to eat is the only thing that will help, I'd go for it. I hope things get better for you soon. This just hasn't been the year for Johns.

Joy, you are probably correct about the in-house applicants getting the job. Most places prefer to hire from within since all the paper work is done and they know the employees. Good luck finding the job that you want.

BarBar, I KNEW your birthday was Wednesday. I noticed that not only Facebook had you listed as Wednesday, but FC also had that as your birthday too. I knew either you lised your birthday wrong on both places or you got your dates mixed up. LOL

Coll, I am so glad your dad made it home safely from the hospital. There is no place like home, especially if you have been staying in a hospital. lol

Took DGS to the doctor's appointment this morning. He has gained a pound since last month. He has been hoarse since Monday. I increased his Advair then. The doctor said I did exactly the right thing. She also said that she wants me to put him back on his breathing treatments 3 times daily until all this rain and mold goes away, which he is probably allergic to, we'll keep him on the Allbutiral (sp). She also added a medication to reduce the phlegm that he is too young to hock up as well as an antibiotic to prevent him from getting an infection. She wants him to come back soon for a Well Child check up. He is due for the 4 year old immunizations since he turned 4 last month.

I had DD call to find out about the Medicaid cards and have to give them MY address since we never know where she'll be living. She said she called and everything is changed to my address. However, they already sent out the August ones and they went to her old address. DD never did gave the post office a change of address. Therefore, the cards are sent back. It will be like pulling teeth to get those Medicaid cards for August. I have to cancel the dental surgeon appointment. I hope this child does not get a bad infection before Mommy gets her act in gear.

DH should be here in about 30 minutes. The kids are excited about Papa picking them up at school. I thought that was going to give me a break until the kids said they wanted me to come too. lol I might as well come since I have to pick up medications in that neck of the woods anyway. lol We have plans to go out to breakfast in the morning and take my neice and nephew and the GKs to the kiddie pool in the afternoon. DD hasn't said a thing about visitation tomorrow. She may be expecting me to pick her up. Oh well, I tried telling her that I wouldn't be doing that anymore. She interrupted me and said she didn't need this. When she gets upset, I am going to tell her that I don't need it. I am stressed out too. It's a lot of work, standing on my own 2 feet, raising 2 children, going to school, and working. Well, as soon as my show is over, I have to do dishes before picking up the munchkins.

DH woke up yesterday with the room spinning and throwing up. Glad He is feeling better today. Guess it was the 24 hour bug. He was able to eat today with no problems.

Been pretty warm but at least we get a shower each day.

Joseph...Had his surgery Wednesday for the aneursysm. He came out of it fine without going into intensive care. He was released yesterday to go home with His family. They will be doing the other surgery in two weeks. We pray that He continues to keep his strength and fight the cancer.
