Ds and dil are learning a hard lesson today. They are moving ( again ) and need help! They have each called me tonight within minutes demanding help. Sorry. They are so lazy they 'need' help. Everyone has dropped them flat on thier face. Her family won't help them at all but they are moving to be closer to them. Dh was walking out the door when they stateted calling and he kept on walking. He took the other two kids out to mow the farm they mow. Dh is busy and he is tired today. Today was the first day in a week he worked normal hours. It has caught up with him. I wanted to laugh. Dil called me saying if they didn't have help they would have to leave behind the dining room table I gave them. And this concerns me why? You would think she would learn that she can't order me around. Ds said that his FIL said they were old enough to move themselves. I agreed. I told them to suck it up and get busy. Not my problem. I do feel bad for the kids, they never see the whole picture so life is hard for them. They make the choices .........no on made them do this.

We had a nice chef salad with chicken and a fruit plate for dinner. It was very yummy.

Happy Canada Day!!!

July 3rd is Dh's birthday. We are heading out for the weekend early Friday morning. We will go to the PA Grand Canyon near Wellsboro, PA. Our friends that live about 1 hr north of that will meet us for the day. We are all 4 going to hike some of the trails. Then we will all head back to there house for the rest of the weekend.

The girls will be back early next week from there vacation in Florida.

We will be leaving on the 17th of July for our Vacation. We will be camping in Lancaster this year. We haven't got to go camping yet this year. I am read for a week of relaxing.

Dh didn't get the job that he interview for yesterday. I feel really bad for him. He has gone on 3 or 4 interviews and nothing has worked out. He said yesterday when he was at the place there was 10 to 15 people there for interviews. They were only hiring for 2 jobs. But on the bright side. He got another phone message from somebody that saw his resume. So he will call them tomorrow and see if they have anything that is for him.

We both were silently hoping he would have something extra special to celebrate for his birthday. But it didn't work out.

Have a nice evening everyone.

Barb yes it is nice we drive past the Canyon all the time when we visit our friends. But we have never stopped.

We have our picnic at work today. I made a pasta salad and a jello poke cake with cool whip icing.

I need to stop at my moms tonight. I haven't seen them in a few weeks. I also need to stop at the store and get new sheets from our waterbed. The ones I have have seen better days.

Have a great holiday weekend everyone.

Charlotte so sorry the job didn't work out for your DH. It is very hard to get a job right now. I hope he finds one soon. Enjoy your vacation.

Connie hope the move goes okay for your children. I don't know why but I always thought you had just the 2 kids... how many do you have?

Felicia I have three, my oldest is 23 he is married. They are both bi polar. I think she is a crack baby. They are a mess apart, together they are a train wreck. We have little as possible to do with them. It hurts, breaks my heart sometimes but this is the way it it. I have given up on him and his wife so I never talk about them. It is embarassing. He wasn't raised like this.
Charlotte, I am so sorry your dh didn't get the job. Hugs.
I took the dogs in for nail trimming and shots. Oh my. My little diva dog threw such a fit, we had to medicate her to clip her nails! Then Stuie was scared to death to go back. He picked up his leash and went to the door to leave. LOL The vet tech reminded me to walk Giz on the pavement a lot to wear the nails down. We were all wiped out. Of course the medication made diva sick. While Jasmine and I had Stuie in the back Jeremiah had Giz puking in the waiting room. Our vet is great thank God!!
I called dh during his lunch to tell him all about it. A co worker answered dh's phone doing a funny voice insisting he wasn't Jim but Won. Won? Won? Yes, won (want) cinnamon rolls. I think I laughed for five minutes. I am surpirsed I didn't pee my pants. I think the guys will be getting cinnamon rolls soon.

Connie , we all reach an age where we make our own choices and have to stop blaming parents or how we were raised. Some people just won’t own up to it. Don’t be embarrassed
Charlotte sorry about your dh and the job, prayers something opens up soon. Have fun tomorrow
I think we are going to the farmer’s market but otherwise a quiet 4th.
Stay safe all

Charlotte sorry to hear about your dh and the job. I hope you enjoy our weekend.
I hope things work out for your ds and dil and there move. And I also agree with Cau!
We aren't going anywhere for the 4th. I just want to stay home and putter around. We will grill something and have some salads, etc. The traffic here will be horrible!

Tried to post yesterday but I lost the post..
yesterday went to lunch with my Red Hat group, it was the first time we got together as a group due to the fact the one in charge,
the queen had been out of town..
I really did like the other ladies too.
they welcome me into the club with a cute teddy bear done up in the red hat, and purple boa. with this cute little purse that she held.
It now sits on my Tv..

then we went shopping at Michaels, after they informed me since I like to make crafts, and been in card swaps that I could be the one in charge of the scrapebooking, taking care of the memories. I just said Ok, fine with me.
Got a new name, since I like frogs, I will not
be Princess froggie not sure if we will spell it
as Froggie or Froggy.. they were going to call
me Dutches but think I like Princess better.

Of course I guess I could be Pricess crockpot
but I need to move on I guess..
was thinking of something to do with Texas since I like to collect Tx and western stuff but I'm going to see if I can move beyond that as that was something John and I enjoyed was Texas, and I'm having to learn
to change to move on.. so the next thing I could think of was my frogs I love.

tomorrow planning on going to one of thier houses, which is the queen to have mid lunch with her and her husband.. ribs/ pot salad/ etc.

They want me to go in Aug to a white water rafting with them, but I'm just not sure if I'm ready for that or not, there be couples and singles.. my daughter thinks I should. but not sure of it... who would take care of my Prissy?
Might be to soon for me to do things like that just not sure.

Yesterday was a good day for me, and I even giggle alot too..

Belated Happy Canada Day~
Happy July 4th USA

Sharon, know you enjoyed yesterday doing the garden work,
but next time don't over do it.

Charlotte sorry to hear your dh didn't get the job, and wishing
that he wil soon, often we lose one job for GOD wants
us elsewhere..feel it it this way in your dh case.
