Sometimes I think that I would like to go back, just so that I would be younger & have more energy!!! But in reality, I believe that the things that happen in our lives are there to help shape & define the people that we turn into - There are so many things that we have learned & have done & so many wonderful things that have happened - So, no, I don't believe that I would want to go back - Maybe just get a glimpse now & then, but not permanent!!! Happy Valentines Day!!!
I would like to go back, do high school over. I as so shy. I also wanted a car, did enough babysitting to buy a used one but my Mother would not let me. She let my older sister who was 18 mo. older. As an adult, I became an extrovert and would have liked to be like that in high school. Also, I wish I had had the chance to go to college when I graduated at 17. I went to college age age 38 and was a good student. Life would have been better financially with a college degree. I have attained many of my goals in life, so even with some regrets, I feel I've been successful.
Yes, I would definitely go back to January 16, 2002, the day before my husband passed away...he went to the doctor for he wasn't feeling well, doctor told him he was border line diabetic, maybe had I insisted he be put into the hospital for a complete check up, I would still have him today. He gave me the best 20 yrs of my life!! But I wouldn't want to live the 17th all over again!
Myan, I understand why you would want to go back - There are always those, what if I had done something else? & what if......There are many things that I guess I would like to try & undo - My father wasn't feeling well, but we just thought it was the extended flu - when we finally got him to the Dr's, we found it was pancreatic cancer & he was gone 5 weeks later - That was so hard - Blondie, I wish you had been in high school with me - We were in a private school with very few kids (70 total)The girls were all so clicky & so I just hung with the boys - I really wish I could have had a close friend there with me to go through it all - I'm so glad that you finished your schooling & that your life has turned out the way you wanted it to - Life is so hard sometimes, isn't it? If I could go back, I would be afraid that I would do the same things & have to go through them again - That was just way too hard!!! It's amazing to hear other peoples thoughts - Enjoy this beautiful day.
I would like to go back at least forty years ago when DH & I were younger and just had our DS. We moved to NJ right from the hospital with the new station wagon with all the baby furniture and carriage. He transferred his job and I was not working anymore.
He is not feeling well this week and was running a slight temperature. He is Diabetic so it worries him now that He is getting older. Did take him to the Dr. but all they do is check you over and tell you to come back in a couple of weeks with your sugar readings.
Last week two of my neighbors passed away and that left him a little down. Otherwise we are both happy the way our lives turned out.

I use to think that it would be cool to have a "re-do" in life. To change the things that you screwed up or didn't turn out the way you wanted. Thinking back, that is exactly what made me what I am today. A Strong independent woman. Not always confident, but ready to face alot, and to roll with the let downs and punches life can throw at you. I have learned that I am stronger and I can get through it, when a drunk driver hits my husband and financially devastates my family or when an ice storm, cripples my community and help just seems to be going to the big cities. I made it through those difficult times with a re-do option and will always will.

I'd love to hug my mom and spend time with my dear husband. I also miss my husbands parents and my mothers parents. Yes, it would be good to go back and spend time with them again.
But that is impossible, so I'll look foreword to being with them in heaven, what a glorious time we will have then!!!
Love & Prayers,
Linda

Linda that is the only reason I would want to go back and to let my brothers know how much I love and admire them. But since I can't will tell them all that once God calls me home. Will get to meet my maternal g-mom and paternal g-dad, g-mom died when my mom was only 2 weeks old and g-dad died when I was 11 months so of course have no memory of him. That will be a great day
