Hi all! I am back from the Ho'ike (the performance of all the classes)! My dd did well! My mother and sister were so touched and my cousin did make it. My sister took the video of her and I think there will be a DVD to order. Anyhow, my dd did forget at one point to put awy her slippers before going on stage to do her hula and my heart leapt when I saw her moving about, but she came back just in time to perform. All in all, my dh says "I am just proud that my dd danced!" To him he sees no errors. I am happy for my dd and it was a good evening regardless! She did great!
This Sunday is the start of my pt work and don't look forward to it LOL!
Thanks Robin for the latest on DonnaMarie and her dh. I will lift up a prayer for them. And thanks for the words of encouragement.
This evening is for me. My dd is spending the night with her grandmother and aunt and it's just a more relaxed time now. My ds is busy with his blocks. I am watching Super Millionaire as there is nothing else I am interested in right now and nothing good on the air. My dh is already falling asleep. LOL!
So I will be visiting the threads if I feel like it or just roam around on cyberspace or maybe read.
Oh my goodness Seleach! I just clicked to post and then I saw my email that someone had just posted so here I am after reading what you posted. Oh my! I would be very cautious and just beside myself if I lived close like you do. But thank God that the perpetrator got caught! Praise the Lord for that! However, on the other hand, these people definitely need prayer. How awful for them to find out what had happened to their precious family member. Keep safe and know that God is watching over you Seleach. Do not be afraid. Hugs, LovedMom
Felicia I wanted to say thanks for sharing the pictures of your time in Florida. That was nice. I just saw the pictures after I posted and meant to tell you.
LovedMom, I am glad to hear your dd did well. Always makes us parents so proud.
I do keep my doors locked. Too many things happening lately that are unheard of in this area.
I hate getting done working at 10PM and driving home alone. And then walking from garage to house even it is only a few steps.
My heart goes out to the parents of that poor girl. She was 25 years old.
She is with our Lord now.
Take care.
