Question New Year Resolutions for 2005

Did you make any resolutions for 2005?

I read somewhere about amonth ago that you should only make a single resolution so that you don't over whelm yourself.

My resolution is to exercise more - to walk at least one hour on the treadmill a minimum of 3 times a week.

I figure if I am able to keep my resolution to walk, watching what I eat a little bit closer will fall into place on its own....after all, would I really want to eat a dessert after walking that day? That would consume all the calories that I walked off!!

So, anyone else willing to tell about their resolutions????

I'll tell!!

Number one is to lose the rest of this weight I've been working on getting off. My goal is 40 pounds off by my b-day in April. That's roughly two pounds a week and totally doable--no more screwing around with it lol!! So Abear, I'll be thinking of you as I get my hour's walk in every day!!

Next is to get a hobby. I'm thinking of teaching myself to crochet, and picking up embroidery again. (I used to know how, it's just a matter of practicing it again).

And lastly( or firstly, depending on how one looks at it), I plan on spending more time in prayer/meditation. I really slipped out of it over the past year and can tell by the way my life has been recently!!
