I just found this board. I missed an email buddie's birthday last month so thought I'd search this out. ;-)
Mine is Jan. 22nd. It is also my oldest son's birthday. Hope everyone is staying warm.
sillygirl, I remember when I thought that, too! Now I know better. I will be 50 on the 31st and I don't think that is old. Well, not TOO old!
You will have your Golden Birthday in two years! I did not hear about Golden Birthdays in time for mine, or my son's. But this October will be my daughter's Golden Birthday. I have already started getting her gifts. Shh! Don't tell.

I still dont know what golden birthdays are.. can u please tell me? So mine is when i am 27? how does this work? thank you for telling me happy birthday.WHEN IS URS?
SillyGirl
A friend of mine first told me about Golden Birthdays when she had hers. She turned 25 on the 25th. So, If your birthday is on the 27th, then the year you turn 27 is your Golden Birthday. My Golden Birthday would have been on my 31st birthday, but I had already past it by then. On my friends Golden, her brother sent her a package with 25 small gifts all wrapped up. I don't know if there is a certain way to do it, but I am going to get 30 small gifts (knick nacks, ubusual bottles, things of that nature) for my daughters 30th in October.

This time, the theme is going to be autumn/Halloween so your stories need to use smilies to express as many words as possible and your story should be focused on anything that has to do with autumn or Halloween.
Members will be allowed to submit one story pertaining to a Halloween story and one story pertaining to an autumn story. Please click here to enter!
