Hi ...welcome to Tidbit and Ridgely...know you will enjoy this thread as well as the "What's for Dinner" and "What did you do frugal today" threads..I do...I always feel that I am chatting with friends and feel I have made so many in the short time that I have been with FC...

Welcome to all the new ones we are to see you and know u will love it here, this is more of a family than it is a website.
we have had seveal that has had needs and prayers, those that been sick or they dealth with death in someway and we have gather around them and tried to be there for them, something u don't see out of to many web groups. THE name of Family corner holds its name up high due to it being more of a family.
Some of us even talk to one another on the phone or send snail mail to one another thur post cards as we enjoy collecting them
some of us stay close to one another thru emials.
we played games and chated with one another. WE are a family on this group
so I will say you get out if it as much as you put into it and more.

you are not bad looking there. and I bet Bro Pat over at WFD thead and UK dad loves to have another man onboard. we don't mind if a man join us. you might even like to go and visit the board about writing.
I was checking on your web and I totally agree about writing to your kids as well to your parents, not sure if that is on there or not. I used to write to mom alot, and in fact when she passed away I put a letter in her casket for she loved the idea of me writing letters to her, she looked forward to those letters. and my daughter and I write letters to one another on special occassions.

Lynette thanks I will go and visit it later. working on business cards, thought I had the right one, but my nature is to continue searching to be sure that the one I want, and lo and behold I found out better that I like. so now got to see which way I like it the best. LOL

Alida if you going to Hawaii a place I always dream of going one day, and u like to swap post cards, would love to have one from Hawaii (hint hint) LOL LOL, which part are u going to? Hi Bar_bar, yes I will send you a postcard or two from Hawaii if you want, just send me your address. I may be biased but the most beautiful place that I have ever been is right here at home. The spring is the best when the sun is shinning on the still snow covered rockies, ohhh...I never get tired of looking at them, that is what I should send you! When I am at the top of the ski hill it just takes my breath away (not just from the cold!!)
But back to Hawaii, we are spending a week on the Big Island and a week on Kauai, and will do some hiking and lots of sight-seeing, we are not beach people other than to snorkel. On the Big Island at the very south end you can walk for miles over the lava landscape to see the red hot lava flowing into the ocean! Very awe inspiring to see nature at work! The Hawaiian islands are also very beautiful, as well as Ireland, I was there in '97. My favorite but expensive hobby....I have also been to the Bahamas, England, Wales, Mexico, Florida, California, Virginia, Washington, Idaho, Montana, as well as the 4 western provinces.
I used to collect postcards, if I find them, do you want them? Somewhere I have lots, if I didn't throw them out!
