Soddark - where is Florida, NY??

Nchilada5 Florida NY is about 1 hour NW of NYC. We are in Orange County the next county up from Rockland County. Have you ever heard of Woodbury Commons in Harriman NY? I am about 20 mins from there.

Okay I know where that is. Counties I have a general idea of. We've actually been looking at the possibility of moving up to the Ulster/Greene county area.
I've been to Woodbury Commons a few times
shopping there. It's a great outlet mall. It's worth all the tolls you have to pay from here to get there as long as you are really doing alot of shopping.

Ulster and Greene counties are above me and probably safe for a while from the big building surge that is hitting our area.
We moved here from Rockland to escape the crowdedness and now it seems to be following us! LOL!

My condolences to you on the loss of your mother. My goodness, that is a loss I cannot even begin to imagine.....and you are so young to have lost her. I am so sorry, Jen.

Sorry, too about the loss of your family pet. You have been through a lot, havn't you!?



It is important to remember to take time for yourself in the midst of caring for your family. I am glad you have decided to do that, whether that be enjoying some online time, taking a bubblebath, or reading a good book...YOU deserve it. Families are a wonderful blessing. In order to take care of those young children you must take care of yourself first, even if it means snagging just a few minutes of time here and there when you can!!
Would your husband watch the boys in the evening to give you some time out of the house, going to a movie, or having a cup of coffee with a girlfriend?

You have probably noticed all the new topics of conversation that have started up here on FC since you have been gone!! Just jump right in wherever you are interested!!!

You have come back to Family Corner just in time for the take off of "Secret Sisters." July will be our first month to have someone special to spoil and send little goodies to!! Go to the Secret Sister question and answer forum and it will answer all the questions you have! Basically though, you will be sent the name of a different person every month and that person will be your "secret Sister" to spoil that month. You are required to send atleast one thing a month..even if it be as small as a post card.......but hopefully, you will want to do more, and it doesn't have to cost a lot of money...........snail mail letters, bookmarks, stickers, pretty Hallmarks or homemade cards.....homemade anything, recipies to try.....(that one would be right up your alley, etc....etc...
It will be easy to personalize as you will be told all your sisters "favorites!!
Have YOU emailed your "favorites" to Barbar??!!

I am new here,I am a happily married woman with three kids, I run a home day care in winnipeg, manitoba. My main reason for joining here is I need some advise on wieght loss after three kids I still have some pounds on me well actually about 80 extra, and I am looking for ideas on lossing them all and any suggestions wouls be great and I am sure I will join in on some of the other topics too
