Friendship Flower Thread This is the only thread here at Family Corner that doesn't have a designated topic. We can discuss anything...within reason. We start out with an empty flower pot and after about 25-28 days of posting, we grow a beautiful flowering plant of some sort.....we've never had a duplicate and we've never had any "complaints" over the end result.

I do my best to come every day to Family Corner... I've been on other sites, but this one is so wonderful, everyone is friendly, helpful, and like a big family.....

From one Texan to another Texan Welcome... I don't live in Dallas thank goodness, but do have a doctor that I go to that is in Dallas....

Most of the forums looked empty when I was looking around. Are they just empty or do I have my settings messed up?

some of them people doesn't post as much as in other areas.
also it could also be your setting... if your setting is set like for 10 days, and the post hasn't been used in 10 days, they look empty but go to the bottom
of the chart at the main forum, not within the threads, and you see a bar area that has
"Showing threads 1 to 3 of 3, that last box will have something along the line that reads last 10 days,depending on what that is...
click it and go to the beginning or to the last or to one of these other settins such as
45 days last
60 days last
75 days last
100 days
the last year
the beginning
then you can see more post...
if you see a post that you want to respond to that was back last year, go ahead and start it again...
you asked a question that is a very good question and it could help alot of folks out...

I don't live in Dallas either, we live in Bedford. My company doesn't do alot of business in Ft. Worth though. We do have a store inside Central Market though.

Hello everyone! I am not new to the Family sights but new to posting ) I am a 37 yo SAHM to a 12 yo daughter,married for almost 17 years to my wonderful husband and best friend,Jim and we live in Ky. I love to cook/bake,read,garden,penpal and make new friends,among other things as well.I hope to get to meet many of you and chat often. Please feel free to stop by and say "hi".

if you moved there as an adult, since when?
for that area sure has done lots of growing.
Hurst, Bedford, Euless, once was 3 totally different areas. LOL
now it all one big area..

what kind of stuff do you sell? mmm, I'm in a gift business, and need to check over at the Market, so if I ever get over there, who knows maybe we could met.

Back in March I was able to met some folks that I share a board with over at the Women of Faith website... it was so Neat to be able to met up with others that you share posts with...

there was one lady from this website that lived in the area that I lived in, which I hoped we would met but I don't think she was so keen on that. LOL, oh well that didn't bother me... and then finally she quite emailing me, so I think she moved away as she was in the plans of moving...
but do think of her from time to time, and wonder what ever happen.

I grew up in HEB, graduated from Bell highschool. The company I work for isn't my business it's someone elses, my business is a personal chef business, I cook for people and deliver their meals for them (one to two weeks worth of meals at a time.)

Hi Apldumplin welcome! I am fairly new, but these ladies make you feel right at home. I love baking too, and now that picnic season has started I cant wait to get some new ideas. Sounds like you have a very nice family!!

Yeah my mom hates it, she wants to move to the country. Property values haveskyrocketed though. So that's good for her I guess.
