Hi
My name is Janet Koski and I am a stay at home mom. I am married and have 2 children ages 16 (daughter) and 6 (son). I also take care of children in my home. They are 5 months old, almost 2, 17 months old and 4th grader. I live in Rockwall Texas. I like reading, swimming,camping,biking and hiking. I attend Lakepointe Church and have been a member for about half a year. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I'd like to invite all the newbies to stop in at a couple of threads.
First up, the What's for Dinner? thread. Yes, we discuss our evening meal plans but we also discuss a whole lot more! This thread has a great group of ladies! Here is the link to this month's thread. (we start over at the first of every month) :
Second is the Friendship Flower thread. Unlike other threads, this one has no designated subject. Within reason, we can discuss anything we like without having to worry about going "off topic". By posting, we "grow" a flower. We never know what the flower will look like until we post enough to get it to grow and bloom. Trust me, we've never been disapopinted with the end results!! Here's the link:
Another popular thread is the What Did You do Frugal Today? thread. While I don't actively participate in this thread, I do "lurk" there. Here is the link to that thread:

Can you believe this Texas weather, it is January and it is going to be close to 80 today! Of course thinking it was going to get cold for the holiday we have half a cord of firewood to burn. It is supposed to get cool soon. I hope everyone enjoys the day!

Now Post Cards you exchange there state cards with anyone that wants to with yours.
And Friendship flower is that you talk just about anything but on Page 1 you will see a pot or whatever (now it is a pot with a Sun on it) the more you talk you will se something grown. Again very nice people there. So drop in and say HI we would love to have you. And oh don't let me forget receipes of all sorts another great place.

Wow! I just joined a few minutes ago! I love this site. So many awesome project ideas and helpful hints.
I am Lynette, I live out West in Washington State with my husband. We have no kids 'cept the dog and cat which are spoiled just the same!
My husband owns his own business and I am the Public Relations director for a Christian Radio station and I am blessed to be able to work at that position from the comforts of my home. They graciously set up the office in my spare bedroom that also cleverly houses my crafting supplies!
I love cross-stitch, quilting, sewing, rubber stamping, and just about anything of a crafty nature!
So, as the new kid on the block, I look forward to having the rest of you share your great ideas and I hope that I can be of help in sharing some of my ideas, likewise. Happy Crafting!
