Welcome to Family Corner to all of the recent newbies!!

In my humble opinion, this is THE very best stop on the internet!

Please don't be shy! Jump in with both feet! You'll have loads of fun and meet some really great people.

I'd like to invite you over to a couple of my favorite threads here.

The first is the "Whats for Dinner?" thread. Yes, we discuss our evening meal menus, but we do discuss a whole lot more! And, on top of that, we have loads of fun!!

The next thread I'd like to extend an invitation to check out is our Christmas Blooming Friendship Basket Thread and Family Corner Christmas Tree. Unlike other threads, this thread has no designated subject. Within reason, we can discuss whatever crosses our minds! By posting, we grow a flowering plant....and this time we are "growing" a Christmas tree as an extra treat! It is really fun watching the progress and as a bonus we enjoy the chats!

Yes, I'm a Newbie and would like to say hi to everyone. It has taken me about a month to get the nerve up to join. I am now a single mom, attending college at the age of 54!

I love crafting and have been doing it for many years. I just wanted to jumb in and say hi to all.

Hi, my name is Alida (also my user name) I am 48, am very happily married for 3 yrs, have 4 wonderful children, work full time as well I just took a 10 month course and am a 'Herbalist' and just loving it! My only wish is that I had more time to play! I love traveling and we are going to Hawaii in Feb, can't wait! I also love skiing and snowboarding, and camping in the summer!
Today I am busy making soaps, lotions, lip balms and bath salts for xmas presents!

going to Hawaii how wonderful, a place I always wanted to go

you are only 1 yr younger than me and I love your cabinetts I have some like that in my kitchen too
