Friendship Flower Thread This is the only thread here at Family Corner that doesn't have a designated topic. We can discuss anything...within reason. We start out with an empty flower pot and after about 25-28 days of posting, we grow a beautiful flowering plant of some sort.....we've never had a duplicate and we've never had any "complaints" over the end result. Feel free to pop in and chat!

Frugal Living? While I don't actively participate in this forum, I do "lurk" there often. It's amazing some of the frugal ideas those ladies have and the deals they get!

chuckle Hello Again...

Hiya, Thought I'd update my "stuff"...
I'm the widowed mom of a 13 yo dd........and she's starting to be quite the PAIN in the BUTT.
We live in Cape Coral, FL..on the outskirts of Fort Myers...aka/ The Hurricane Magnet.
I have started a Freecycle group on Yahoo for the Fort Myers area, and have almost 500 members! We give & receive numerous useful items...check out your local group by going to freecycle.org.
Have 3 cats: Meeko, Merlin, & Kali Coe; 1 dog, Fly; numerous fish; and the occasional lizard, frog, bug or snake that wanders in the house!
I used to drive semi and dump trucks...still have my CDL. Recently made seashell ornaments, etc. for a Sanibel Island gift shop, but Charley blew that job away. I sew, make jewelry, coupon, craft, fix stuff, and do an occasional trash pick/dumpster dive!
I've been a member of Family Corner for more than 2 years, and have met many wonderful people, and made some good friends. Never "actually" met any of them, but they are always here to talk to, and have seen me through many rough patches. I am more than thankful for all of them!

Take Care All........see ya on the forums! Bett

Littlecmum, congrats to your youngest on learning to crawl Though I have to say, I dreaded the day my youngest crawled I knew he'd be into everything, and was he EVER! I liked it best when he could sit up on his own, but not get anywhere

barbszy, I now excately what your talking about. I have to put my plants up to where she can't reach them and drags all the movies off the shelf. But I was beginning to wonder if she was ever going to start crawling. They just grow up to FAST...

Oh Yes... How well I know that stage of learning! I babysit an 8 month old that just began crawling 2 weeks ago, now is standing up (saw it for the first time yesterday...), and did it several times. My job is now just beginning!! Here is a qick snap I took of her 2 days ago. She is a sweet little red head
