OH yeah certain kinds of cheese tear my belly up, and now with high BP i have to even watch that because of the salt content. I made the mistake of eating a slim jim with the cheese stick oh wow BP went up belly got weird on me, YUK.

I can drink choc milk only if it is made with 2% milk or less, cheeses have to be less than whole milk kind, the kraft 25 kind seems to work fine but I have to limit that too, the bad part of all this is I am a cheese lover.

as for ice cream I am not much into that , now give me a popcicle and we're good to go LOL.

Hugs Bonnie

Hello Everyone,

I'm newly registered here, as of today. At first I thought I had gotten into a wrong group (of just young mothers), but after reading the threads, I see empty nesters and even Grandmoms have threads.
So I know I'm going to be right at home. Lol.

I have been lurking here and reading the great ideas for some time and I have gotten some helpful ideas.

I work from home, prefer it that way, and therefore don't get out to socialize much. I would love to make online friends.

I am a widow with 3 grown children, 7 grandkids with 2 more on the way, a labrador and one 12 week old kitten.

My interests are cooking, crafts, gardening, my family, animals and Science Fiction.

Looking forward to getting to know you all. Oh by the way, I was reading some of the older threads and saw mention of a Friendship Blooming Basket. I tried to find this, with no luck. Can anyone tell me where it is?

God Bless All of You and Our Troops.
Maryann

Welcome to Family Corner Maryann(Raggd3) !!

Happy to have you here with us! This is my favorite place on the web! This is a great place to make friends and find unwavering support. Everyone here is like a second family.

How wonderful that you get to work from home. That is something I'd love to do. A lab and a kitten? Are they friends??

I'd like to extend an invitation for you to join us at a few threads. Click on any of the links below and it will take you to different threads/subjects around the site. Once there, just click on "post reply" and jump in with both feet! You'll have fun, meet some great people and just have an all around good time. If you ever need some extra help just click on the "pm" button at the bottom of my post and send me a private message. I'll do all that I can to lend a helping hand!

Friendship Flower Thread This is the only thread here at Family Corner that doesn't have a designated topic. We can discuss anything...within reason. We start out with an empty flower pot and after about 25-28 days of posting, we grow a beautiful flowering plant of some sort.....we've never had a duplicate and we've never had any "complaints" over the end result. Feel free to pop in and chat!
