Hello, I have two children. The are 11 and 7. I have been married to a great guy (my highschool sweetheart) for 8 and a half years. We have been together for 12 and a half years. I am blessed in a lot of ways, however, like anyone one else human I have my own trials to work through. I love to learn from others experiences and my own. I have an open mind, and I love to meet new people.
Lavette96, I want to officially welcome you to Family Corner. I am married to my high school sweetheart too, except that I have been married for 29 years. How did you meet your spouse? I met mine when I moved to town and started band for the summer. My DH played the drums and I played the trumpet. Do you have any children?

Lavette, your kids are still at that nice age. lol I was going to suggest that you share a photo, but I notice that you've already posted a photo. I bet your DH had a hard time letting his little girl wear make-up, even for Halloween, at least my DH was that way about our DD.

Welcome! I'm a newbie, too. Enjoy your children; they grow up so fast! My oldest (son) just graduated from college and lives in another state, and I have a 15-year-old daughter. It's hard to let go when they grow up!
