Hi..thanks for the welcome...I do not get to see my GK's often as they moved a couple hours away because of my sons job change...I always liked to hear how others came up with their user names too..sometimes very interesting...Mine?--I love hot peppers...i just finished cutting up a half a bushel of them yesterday for freezing and drying, along with the tomato juice i got done yesterday..I have been canning and making salsa, stewed tomatoes, juice and more salsa for a few weeks now...finished up making the applesauce and have a few days break before more tomatoes get here. It's fun..kids will be here shortly and i have things to pick up...have a great day..

Hi chili and nymidget and welcome. Glad to have you join us.

SS stands for Secret Sister Club. You can join when you have 75 posts. Each month you are given someone's name and someone will get your name. You spoil your SS by sending e-cards, snail mail and a small gift. Never let her know who you are until the reveal thread is up.

Chili, the Secret Sister club is a terrific way to get to know others and have fun being sneaky. When I wasn't so busy, I was a SS. I would send stuff to someone in another state so that the postmark wouldn't be from mine. It would totally throw off my Secret Sister. It was so much fun keeping her guessing and spoiling her.
