hi there everyone my name is colleen i live in nova scotia canada
i found this website when i was serching for ideas to make something for christmas gifts money is very tight this year as i have gone for back surg and im unable to work for a while
i have 2 grown daughters one with a family and one on her way out in a few months i have been happily married for 25 years and we are only 41 lol we started young

anyway i found country dammit dolls and set out to make them with what i have on hand
i think they turned out looking more like voodoo dolls mabe its the fabric i used i dont know mabe its the button eyes that are too big
i made 2 and im still quite unsure if i want to give them away for gifts

this is quite a nice site mabe ill find somethign else to make for christmas gifts

Welcome to all the new members. I've been pretty busy lately & haven't gotten in here to welcome everyone.

Collgwg, I'm sure you'll find some nice ideas for gifts. A couple of years ago I made dish towel angels for gifts for the ladies on my list. They loved them! My mom used to cut out a gingerbread man shape for the dammit dolls. She put eyes & white rick rack on them for the frosting on the arms, legs & top of the head.
