I missed you coming in Megsmom so want to welcome you. Sounds like you and your grands have a great time. I have 5 children 6 grands and 3 greats. I love to read also but have not one crafty bone in my body. What a shame since my beloved g-mom was a great seamstress. I hope to see you around on some of the threads. I am headed to the bed to read then try to go to sleep. Take care

About me, I am darn near 50, a step-mom to a lovely gal in the PNW, a caregiver to my folks who live with us, a wife and cat mom -
x 3. I LOVE HALLOWEEN and am counting the minutes til I can haul all of my Halloween decs out! Love to cook, read and swim. Used to love to crank tunes and clean, but the folks squashed that one! Mom and Dad don't like Pearl Jam or Metallica. ^_^

Hi, I'm bar_bar, a mom to 2 grown kids, both of them has blessed me with grandkids.
I've just joined the world of being a widow, and dealing with it one day at a time.
I'm fixing to go off to college at being the young age of double nickle. LOL, or soon be that wonderful age. July 29th.
I love being at this site and have met some wonderful, and caring ladies here.
They have been by my side thru thick and then with my husband's health and death with giving me support.

I'm also involved with the Red Hat Society group and love it, it brings the giggles back for a spell.

It now me and my little (doggie) but don't tell her she a dog.. she thinks she a human.

notagramma we may not be to far apart from one another, Not good with directions, but I am on the way toward Waco.

megsmom402002 you sound like a very interesting person. Are you a Native American yourself? If so what tribe? My husband and I b oth have a little Native Am.
and we had another gal here on the board from time to time that is also have some Native American in her too.

May you both find the joy that so many of us have found being here.
There is so many places to be and interesting groups such as the birthday club, the ss club,
postcard club, and the list goes on..
you need some posts to be able to get there but it not hard to do.

I do like reading, but with four kids 8months to 15yrs I do not have as much time to read as I would like. I love entering contests and saving money(collecting coupons) I try to be involved in my kids sports and schools. I also like camping, shopping,music and movies. I will check out those forums you posted. Thank you

oh and I LOVE Gardening. I have a huge vegatable garden that is doing so well this year.
