Hi my name is Charlotte I am new to the group.I live in Mississippi,I have been married to a wonderful man for 30 years.We have 4 children,17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.I am a seamstress,I work from my home.I love crafting,flower gardening,reading,and doing things with my grandchildren..My favorite thing to make are cloth dolls.I make them for myself mostly but have swapped dolls with other ladies from different states and countries.Have not had a chance to look all around the site much yet, but from what I have gotten through this seems like a wonderful and friendly place,can not wait to get involved here.

Unfortunately Barb the station I work at is kinda dinky, we do have a web site but you can't listen to us online yet. Maybe one day they will join the 21st century. LOL! If it weren't for me KSUM wouldn't even have a myspace page. LOL!

| |  Thank you for the welcomes it is great to be here.My children are girl 34,girl 32,boy 29,girl 27,My grand children range in age from 25 to 3 years,10 girls and 7 boys ,and my greatgrand children are 5 and 2 both boys.We have a large and wonderous family.I will have to check out the book dissicusion  and the craft forum and the doll forum.

Welcome Charlotte and TanyaLynn! It is nice to meet both of you.
Charlotte, I think cloth dolls make the best "loveys" for little ones. What a great hobby. I am a daycare provider and all the tiny tots I care for take a doll or a stuffed animal to sleep with them at nap time.
TanyaLynn, very cool that you work at a radio station.
