Hi there,
I'm a writer with the parenting website www.kaboose.com (where Amanda is the crafts expert--she suggested I post here). I'm working on a short article about dinnertime conversations. I'd love to hear some tips on how you made your family dinnertime fun and positive. How do you help a quiet child get a word in edgewise when a chatty sibling is dominating the conversation? How do you avoid the "how was your day/it was fine" trap? What do you guys like to talk about? Why is a conversation over a family meal important to you? All that good stuff. Hey Shayson3! Don't forget to go to the Introduce Yourself thread to post information about yourself so we can get to know you.

We don't have a chat room. It's all postings. Search for any topic you're interested in and jump in. Everyone here is wonderful. If you have any questions just ask a moderator.

My name is Renee and I stumbled onto this site today looking for some kid friendly recipes. This site looks really cool!

I am a 30 year old Stay at home mom to 2 hyper little boys, Aaron who is 5 and Morgan James who is 2 years old. Aaron has been diagnosed to be on the Autism Spectrum.
I have been married to my hubby for almost 10 years now and we reside in Minnesota.
In my spare time I scrapbook and make cards. I currently design for 3 online scrapbook sites and hope to start a photography business when both kids go to school full day.
