Jess glad to see anouther fellow Canadian on the forums!! Where in alberta are you moving to??? Heard Calgary got some really bad hail yesterday. My family is all on Vancouver Island but i live in Ontario. My hubby is overseas in Afghanistan with the military.
We are moving to Red Deer - we're about 4 1/2 hrs. NE of there right now, we move on the 28th - can't wait! Calgary did get really bad hail yesterday, my SIL lives there and she said it was just freaky they way that system came in... Where abouts in ON do you live? I grew up in Cambridge, ON, I just moved west as a teenager. Do you get to see your family very often? That's *quite* a space apart! Very cool that your hubby is overseas - mine is too, kinda LOL Just not for something as important as yours. Mine works in Mexico in the oilfield as a supervisor. It's different. Thankfully he's only gone a month at a time - I don't know if I would be sane if he was gone for longer! LOL Anyways thanks again for the welcome Jess

Hi, everyone! I'm Kristin and I live in Arkansas. I've recently decided to do alot of growing up haha. (I'm 21) It seems like all I can think about is what I want to do in life. I've always had a really hard time deciding, but I think I'd like to do something in the arts. I live in a pretty small town, but I'm tired of it. My late grandmother grew up in Chicago... I wouldn't want to actually live in Chicago, but maybe a nearby town, go to an art school?
Anyways...I'm glad I joined. I've seen alot of interesting topics, and I hope to get to know you!

Hi Kristin and Chicklet! I cannot wait to get to know you both. I am in college, so I wish you well if you do decide to go to art school. Chicklet, where is Mexico is you DH working? I have been to Zacatecas and live in Las Cruces, NM, which is close to Juarez.

Wow how often does your hubby have to go to Mexico??? Mike should be coming home in 6 weeks. He works supply for the hospital in Kandahar right now. Keeps him busy. At least he is not involved in the recent fighting. I am familiar with Red Deer. I live about an 1 1/2 hours west of Ottawa in Beachburg. We are known for white water rafting here. My hubby works in Petawawa at the base but we choose to live 45 minutes away to have some normalcy in our lives. Hope your move goes smoothly and that I run into you on some threads here at FC

Jrztomato....we are in Edison. Both me and my husband have lived in New Jersey all our lives but are looking to move hopefully within the next year or two to South Carolina or Florida closer to my SIL. What part of NJ were you from?
