These forums seem like they cover almost everything! It's awesome. I'm glad I came across your community.

I'm a mom to a preschooler and an almost toddler. About to embark on a homeschooling plan and a little nervous. It seems like every comment like "Is she in school yet?" rings in my ears.

Hello from the heart of Cajun Country, Louisiana!! It's very nice to meet you! Very happy that you decided to join us! This is my absolute favorite "corner" of the web! This is a great place to make friends and find support. Everyone here is like a great big family. You won't find a more friendly group of people!

I have three children...one daughter (age 21 and getting married this coming Saturday ) and two sons (ages 13 & 11). I am also primary caregiver for my 86 y.o. father-in-law.

We have a homeschooling forum here. The link is included below. There are some great resources there plus lots of support from other homeschoolers!

I'd like to extend an invitation for you to join us at a few threads. Click on any of the links below and it will take you to different threads/subjects around the site. Once there, just click on "post reply" and jump in with both feet! You'll have fun, meet some great people and just have an all around great time. Friendship Flower Thread this is the only thread that does not have a designated subject. At this thread, you can talk about anything (within reason) without having to worry about getting off-topic! By posting, we "grow" a flower. We start out with an empty pot and end up with a gorgeous flower/plant. We never know what we're going to end up with but we have yet to be disapppointed!

Hi,

I just wanted to introduce myself, I am from Australia. I'm a full-time SAHM of four children under 8. We're an average family, I live a pretty simple life, I enjoy my kids, reading books and magazines, surfing the internet, cooking, stretching a dollar, and making the most of my life! I'm a loner, have been for all my life, but the Internet has certainly opened up a whole new world for me.

I love to enter competitions - it's a hobby I enjoy, and I love creating with papers (I make artist trading cards, bookmarks and such - I'm not a scrapbooker though)

I'm a compulsive collector of recipes, and I love Lighthouses!

Sorry if I've rambled a bit... hope nobody nodded off to sleep here
