Hello from the heart of Cajun Country, Louisiana!! It's very nice to meet you! Very happy that you decided to join us! This is my absolute favorite "corner" of the web! This is a great place to make friends and find support. Everyone here is like a great big family. You won't find a more friendly group of people!
I have three children...one daughter (age 21 and getting married this coming Saturday ) and two sons (ages 13 & 11). I am also primary caregiver for my 86 y.o. father-in-law.
I'd like to extend an invitation for you to join us at a few threads. Click on any of the links below and it will take you to different threads/subjects around the site. Once there, just click on "post reply" and jump in with both feet! You'll have fun, meet some great people and just have an all around great time. If you ever need some extra help just click on the "pm" button at the bottom of my post and send me a private message. I'll do all that I can to lend a helping hand!
Friendship Flower Thread this is the only thread that does not have a designated subject. At this thread, you can talk about anything (within reason) without having to worry about getting off-topic! By posting, we "grow" a flower. We start out with an empty pot and end up with a gorgeous flower/plant. We never know what we're going to end up with but we have yet to be disapppointed!
Frugal Living? While I don't actively participate in this forum, I do "lurk" there often. It's amazing some of the frugal ideas those ladies have and the deals they get!
Welcome CountryLady, I like the name. I once was going to use that name on a board, but decided not to.

I'm also a mom of 2 but they are grown, and a gm of 3 natural gkids and 3 step gkids.
I also work as a after school program at a christian school and I love the job.
We have lots of things to see and do, so jump in whereever you like
