Hello this is Lou. I live in Iowa on an acerage. I have 5 children 8 grand children and 1 great grandchild. I love to garden, but am unable to do so now because of a back injury. I still have my flowers though, mostly perennials. We, my significant other, have 4 horses that i enjoy taking care of. 3 paints, Doreen, Charlene, Jesse and an Arab, Missy. We have numerous cats, and a dog, Bandit, that hates to leave my side. We generally hitch up the horses on Sunday and go for a drive in our wagon. The kids sure love it. Right now most of the crops are out of the fields. It seems pretty early for this. I am wondering if this winter may be a hard one?
This website is very intresting, alot of varying topics. I am looking forward to participation.
Thank you,
Lou
YIPPPEEEE FC IS GROWING... Welcome to the FC boards Louise, oh I'd love to see your horse. I love them and wish I had one. I also have grandchildrem ( 7,5 and 3) and we get together every Sunday, I cook lunch and then we like to go 4 wheelin and play hide and seek on them. It's lots of fun too. Our neighbor has bout 500 acres and he lets us use it when crops are out. Well if ya have any questions someone here can help. This is the best place to come, sit, relax, laugh, joke, make friends and lasting memories. Sometimes I even cry but its all good. Have a great day. GBU

Hello from the heart of Cajun Country, Louisiana!! It's very nice to meet you both! Very happy that y'all decided to join us! This is my absolute favorite "corner" of the web! This is a great place to make friends and find support. Everyone here is like a great big family. You won't find a more friendly group of people!
I am a mother of three children...one daughter (age 21) and two sons (ages 13 & 11). I am also primary care giver for my 86 y.o. father-in-law.
I'd like to extend an invitation for you to join us at a few threads. Click on any of the links below and it will take you to different threads/subjects around the site. Once there, just click on "post reply" and jump in with both feet! You'll have fun, meet some great people and just have an all around good time. If you ever need some extra help just click on the "pm" button at the bottom of my post and send me a private message. I'll do all that I can to lend a helping hand!
Friendship Flower Thread this is the only thread that does not have a designated subject. At this thread, you can talk about anything (within reason) without having to worry about getting off-topic! By posting, we "grow" a flower. We start out with an empty pot and end up with a gorgeous flower/plant. We never know what we're going to end up with but we have yet to be disapppointed!
Frugal Living? While I don't actively participate in this forum, I do "lurk" there often. It's amazing some of the frugal ideas those ladies have and the deals they get!
