Splenda is made from sugar and is not supose to have an after taste.
I like it better than equal. I don't think it has an after taste but friends of mine think it does. Go figure!
Probably need to borrow a pack to taste from a friend or try a restarant or buy a little box. I really think it is much better than equal and such.

Splenda

I dont think Splenda has an aftertaste, I honestly cant tell the difference in baked goods when there is Splenda in it. I did find out something from my Dr. alot of the sugar subst. if taken in excess can cause alot of GAS, and in some people even diarrhea, so if you eat those new SF peanut butter cups (like I just did)and get a bad stomach ache youll know why, I only ate 3 and it bothered me, then when I read the small print on package itsaid if taken in excess can cause gas, bloating and diarrhea!!

Everybody needs a little tenderluvinBear!

Figures just when I find something low calorie I like I cant eat it!

Friendship Flower Thread This is the only thread here at Family Corner that doesn't have a designated topic. We can discuss anything...within reason. We start out with an empty flower pot and after about 25-28 days of posting, we grow a beautiful flowering plant of some sort.....we've never had a duplicate and we've never had any "complaints" over the end result. Feel free to pop in and chat!

WGDad

Welcome to Family Corner, hope you'll enjoy your time with us and come back and visit often. There's alot to learn and explore here and being "new" you should be busy for awhile catching up with all us gabby ladies

Stop over in our frugal section where you learn daily how to save money and time and support each other throughout it all.

Then there's the craft section, always looking for new ideas and sharing what we've learned.

And if you like to cook, The "What's for dinner" section is a sure winner.

Like I said, there's alot on here and such nice friendly folks... I'm sure you'll fit right in.

Anna
