We managed to get away to the coast - we ended up at Scarborough, it was a really fun day

Today was showery, so we did have a games day and thoroughly enjoyed that too.

Just one more day left of the school holiday for the boys and my daughter 3 more days and then we need to get our routine back.

Is the bank holiday weekend sort of like our Labor Day weekend here in the states?

We haven't planned anything special for this weekend. My daughter has a play date on Sat. at the park behind our house. My son was supposed to play baseball with my dh but he is sick so I don't think that he will be doing much of anything.

We'll probably just grill out and hang out at home.

Ours is called the August Bank Holiday and is the last Monday in August. I think your Labour Day is a week later.

I had a very low key one, staying at home.

Hope everybody had a good time though.
