Hello Trish and Deb!

You are both making me crave apple/cranberry crisp! I love cooked apples and cranberries! I need to figure out how to make that without sugar. I guess I can just replace the sugar with Splenda. Hmm, must check into that. I have lots of apples and cranberries on hand.

Trish - I will reply to your question about the candles in a private message - okay :-)

Lorraine.

Good Friday Morning, Ladies,

Another suuny day here in T.O. - love it - the temperature has dropped but not too much.

I am just getting some things done that were on my To Do list for this week. What is everyone else up to?

I have no major plans for the weekend. Does anyone else?

Hi Trish

Hi Lorraine

Just popping in to see what the two of you are up to?? It has been a beautiful day here......the sun is shinning and it is -2 so we were able to be outside alot. I love seeing the sun and I love that it is staying lighter out longer now.

Trish did you ever make to the canal to go skating??

Lorraine anything special happening in Toronto....I think the auto shop is there soon.

Well hope you both are well

Take care

hugs Debbie

Hi Deb !

Hi Trish !

Thanks for checking in Deb! Not too much new here in Toronto. Not even any weather activity worth speaking about - just kind of grey and dull :-)

On Valentine's Day, we went to a wedding. Our friends had a beautiful ceremony. The guys were all joking that they got off easy because they didn't have to buy the food, drinks or pay for the entertainment. All the ladies attending got long-stemmed roses - very nice!

Not sure what the auto show is that you mentioned. I guess we are more of a hockey family here but we may have to become fans of a different sport if hockey doesn't come back!

Take care!

Lorraine a Valentines wedding how romantic!!! That was sweet to give all the ladies long stem roses. Too funny about the guys saying they got off easy!!! Seems like something they would say.

Not sure what auto show it was just know my aunt mentioned something. She goes to many of the events that take place in Toronto. I always love to hear what play, show event she has been to. Sometimes we join her if we can get to toronto. We did go and see The Lion King and Mama Mia and have taken in some Blue Jays games. I would like to go again this summer to see them play.

The weather here had been beautiful and sunny but last night it got really windy and we have some more snow falling!!! Guess winter is still in control....I was hoping maybe spring would try and come early!!!! LOL

Well take care

Hugs
Debbie

Yes, it was a very romantic evening!

That's great that you have seen The Lion King and Mama Mia.I haven't seen either one. Which one of the two would you suggest seeing for someone who could only get to one?

I have seen a few ads for the auto show in the past few days.
I would like to go just to get a close look at all the shiny new cars. I think they have a vintage car section too.

Enjoy Sunday!

Lorraine

Hi there Lorraine

It is chilly here today to!! We went and had a family portrait done today and then took my oldest out for an early birthday dinner.

That is a hard choice between the 2 musicals. We loved Lion King and the costumes and stage theatrics were incredible!!!! I would see it again. Mama Mia the story line is okay but I loved the Abba music and all the comedy in the play. My aunt has seen many or almost all plays that come to the city. She has been to both of these 3 to 4 times. She saw the producers but told me it was not nearly as good as she hoped. I take her advice and usually can not go wrong. I don't think you can go wrong with either of them.

That must be the auto show my aunt is going to. She usually checks out what is new on the market.

Well must be off

Talk to you soon

Hugs Debbie

Hi Debbie,

Getting a family portrait done is such a good idea. We did ours just before Christmas. Our son is taking a photography course so he did it for us as part of a school assignment.

I think I will see if any of my friends want to see Mama Mia - not even sure if it is still on. I think they all may have seen it already.
I do like Abba. Dh is not a big Abba fan and doesn't want to go.

Well, we got 20 centimetres of snow yesterday! The streets are pretty much cleared now but there was a lot of shoveling going on yesterday. I am trying to convert that to inches - about 8 inches, I think.

I better get rolling. I have to get out to Take 30.

Have a great day!

Lorraine.
