Come To The Movies With Reel Moms

Reel Moms, brought to you by UrbanBaby and Loews Cineplex Entertainment, offers the opportunity for moms to bring their babies to the movies. Look for special events and giveaways and today's hottest movies.

Tickets to all Reel Moms events are NOT limited in number, and go on-sale at the box office the day of the show. Reel Moms is open to parents and their babies. Stroller check is available; admission for grown-ups is regular ticket price, babies are free.

I saw a news piece about this when we were in Houston for the holidays. There is a theater there that is going to do this.

I think this is a GREAT idea!

I no longer have "babies" but I well remember how it was when I did!

We tried only once to take DD to a movie with us since we couldn't get a sitter. As soon as the lights went down, she started fussing. I took her out, got her calmed down and attempted to go back in......she started up again. Now it wasn't loud wailing or anything but just enough that I felt like she might be disturbing the people around us. So, I sat out in the concession stand area with DD while her Dad and my two step-children stayed and watched the movie!

I hope that enough Moms with younger children take advantage of this for them to keep it going.

We do have a Lowes theater here however it is not conveinent from where I live! I agree its a good idea!
In the summer we have a drive in that we can go to which is what we have done the past 2 summers since having ds...The best part though is we get 2 movies for one!

We have a drive-in not too far from us too. I cant wait til this summer so that we can do that as a family. My son will love being able to watch a movie outside and Ill be able to entertain the baby as well.
