Yes it was closed with clear sticky tape.
I wouldn't post it through the mail unless it was in a box no I don't think posties would like the bottle shape LOL.
I'm going to do smaller water bottles 600ml, and do individually wrapped lollies and smaller chocs.

I love this idea! I will have to think of ways to put this one to use.

I just saw one in a crafts magazine that uses take-out coffee cups (i.e., Starbucks, etc.). You decorate them with scrapbook paper, stickers, buttons, etc. and put a gift card to a coffee shop inside. Really cute!

That's a really cute idea for a co-worker or a teacher who drinks coffee (my son's teacher last year comes to mind. He was always seen with his coffee mug in the morning) or anyone who is known to love coffee.

You could also go along the same lines and use tea or hot chocolate.
