Ty Pennington is in my town!! A family here in Bakersfield has been chosen for the show!!!! Mom and I are driving over tomorrow to see the progress and find out when the family is returning (they are at Disney World) so we can be there to see them come to their new house!! They live in a very old, delapidated farm house. It is a single mom with a boy and girl. The dad was killed in June in a truck accident. The whole community has been helping them on the farm, etc....
I will let you know when I find out the airing date.
COOL!!!
I was watching last night's show in bed, because DH and the Big Kids were playing a video game downstairs, and I fell asleep--missed the last 20 minutes I guess I'll have to go to the website to see the "after" pictures!
I love Extreme Home Makeover its a great show. Barb its nice to have a show for the whole family to enjoy! Problem dh was out so I recorded it but the vcr failed me....So will have to catch it in a rerun. I record Desperate Housewives to watch after kids are all tucked in and I didnt get that either but at least they will rerun on Saturday!

It has been such an awe inspiring week watching this home being built in under a week!! The community jumped right in to help and I won't give any of the surprises away here because I want you all to see the show!! It will be truly amazing!! It is going to be a 2 hour special and will air Nov 21st.!!!
Did anyone see last weeks episode with the couple who was deaf? What an awesome and toucing episode that was!!!!
A reminder to you that next week (Nov 21) will be the episode that was shot here in Bakersfield last month. It is the Elcano family and I think you will be impressed!!!! Get out the tissues!!!!
I have it marked to watch, maybe we will catch a glimpse of you in the audience?!? I saw the one last week it had me in tears as do most of the episodes.
Hugs
Debbie

Yes, I bawled through last week's episode!! To be deaf and raising a hearing but blind autistic child must be so difficult! I felt sorry for the oldest son as he has had so much put on his shoulders over the years - I know he loves his family but still......
Hey, Donna - I thought the Elcano family episode was going to be a two hour deal?? Tvguide.com shows that it is only a one hour episode.
Unless they have changed their minds....it was said that this would be a two hour special! I do hope the TV guide is wrong!!!!
But one hour or two, I know the show will touch your hearts!!!!
