Deb, I've never seen Amazing Race............ I suppose if I watched it once you would have me hooked on that show too, the way you've got me hooked on Dancing With The Stars!! LOL!!


What is everyone very favorite Extreme Home Makeover episode..........it can be from any season?
Remember the deaf family, I think this one aired two seasons ago.......... That one is still my favorite!!

I still love this show, don't get me wrong, but I like it a LOT when the familes get really, really excited!! You know what I mean?

I mean, I have seen a couple episodes recently where I have said to myself, my goodness, if that's all the excitement you can show I can nominate a family who will just go bonkers with excitement over being given a new home!!!!!!

I think Oprah is an extremely generous person, because she helps SO many people with her money. I was talking with someone not long after the show about her building schools, etc, and the person came back with, "The trouble is, she wants to RUN everything about it." To which I replied, "And why not? It's HER money that brings it about."

I think she is an amazing woman!
I had the privledge of seeing her show when I lived in Illinois! It was an episode with Patty LaBelle and was lots of fun!!

Donna i loved that episode with the deaf boy too....they did an amazing job on that home. I loved an apisode for a young girl who was allergic to the sun too....even outside had canapes so she could go outside.

I know what you mean about excitement......I have seen a few families where I wish they would jump up and down and just go crazy.

I missed this week with coming home from New York...anything interesting??? Amazing race is over for this season so i can watch all the episodes now.
