I received a lot of books for Christmas and I have already finished reading one and have started on the second one. The first one I read was Secrets & Mysteries of the World (Hardcover) by Sylvia Browne and it was an excellent book. and I am reading her book Prophecy: What The Future Holds for You right now and it is also an excellent book. I have always admired Sylvia Brownes psychic abilities but I also like her writing style and firm belief in God. If you have never read one of her books, I would advise you to do so, she is upfront, honest and very dedicated to God and making this world a better place to live in. Fish3711

I hit the jackpot with bookstore gift cards this year! I think tomorrow I will get the chance to invest some of them in some good books. I'll be scrolling back through this thread to look for good ideas.
I got 3 books for Christmas; will post "reviews" of those as I read them!
I just finished SAHM I Am, by Meredith Efken a few days ago. What a great book! It is about a group of moms who are online friends. I just loved it! Take care and happy reading!
jjoj, I found the book SAHM I Am at the bookstore today--can't wait to dive in! For anyone who is looking for it, I found it in the Christian fiction area.
I just started reading a book called People of the Fire by W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neal Gear. It's a story about America's first peoples [Indians] this is the 2nd novel by them I have read. The other one People of the Owl was an abosolutely great read. So far this one is living up to the first one I read. I would highly recommend these novels to anyone interested in the American Indians.

jjoj, I finished SAHM I Am the other day. It was a fast read, a very good story. I enjoyed the book a lot--funny and touching moments in there! If any of you are looking for a good "light" read I would definitely recommend it.
Barbszy, I really enjoyed it also! It was pretty cute. I loved the characters. lol
Right now, I am getting ready to start a book called Shattered Justice, by Karen Ball. It looks like it will be a good read. Take care and have a nice evening, everyone!
