Hi everyone!!

Happy 4th of July!!

It has been really hot weather for June all over the U.S. I am wondering what July and August has in store for us.

Hi Everyone!!

Patti, so sorry to hear you will have to have a hip replacement. Prayers for you.

Paula, so sorry to hear Jerry is having so much trouble. And so sorry to hear you have had problems with the VA. Prayers for you both.

Pam, I read about your dad on FB and responded there. I am so sorry for your loss. He is happy to be with your mom again.

Cau, hope you are breathing better.

Lauri, glad you are just working part time during the summer. Bakeries are so hot.

Charlotte, I don't like mice and have been known to stand on a chair when seeing one.

We did not go to son's house earlier this month as Buck remembered he had promised to help Roland's son move. I am glad we didn't as ds's girlfriend and his dad did nothing anyway. Grandson said he got everything out that he wanted to keep which I told him to do since it was now his. Other than that, they sat around and talked some and went home. I knew that would happen when Kim said we should all meet at noon. Did she really think we could get his clothes packed up and dishes and furniture out and the house cleaned in one afternoon? We were supposed to bring his car back with us. We went up the following Mon and left the car there. As there was oil on the garage floor and the car made an awful grinding sound. Something was definitely going out. It has 161,000 miles on it so I told my dgs that we left it there and to tell his grandpa to have it towed out to the junk yard. He has the power of attorney so he can take care of it.
Should not be a problem.

I miss my son but he is no longer hurting. This is something that has to be accepted. You never get over it but you accept it and you have to move on. Thank you all for your support and prayers. That is so appreciated. I think I mentioned he is buried with his sister. They were both cremated so there was room on the same plot.

On June 14th our next door neighbor passed away. He was 49 also. He had a stroke and died on the kitchen floor.

Buck has been a marshal for the Bass Master Fishing Pros. Last week he was in LaCross and they were on the Mississippi. This week they were in Green Bay and fished on the Bay. Buck said it sure was hot but he enjoyed it anyway. This was one of those once in a lifetime things. I am glad he got to go. The best part was probably meeting the Pro's that he is always watching on TV.

I have spent a lot of time outside weeding in the flower beds and veggie garden. I spend a lot of hours in one day outside and then the next day I have to stay indoors and take it easy as my hips hurt from the bending. The right hip does not stay in place and pops out. I have tried to do less in a day and then go out the next day but that doesn't work too good so I may as well do as much as I can in one day.

Everybody take care.

Thank you Sharon, trying to do things now that I have been putting off so they will be done before I am "laid up for awhile" .I am so thankful I will have home health care for a month afterwards and longer if need be. But if this surgery goes as well as last one will only need a month's care.
Sorry Sharon that Kim and Dad did not do things as they should have to help you. Happy that Buck has had a good time meeting the pros etc.
88 degrees here already. I so want to sit on porch but can't. And poor power bill is going to catch it big time A/C is running almost steadily. I want to bake but no way. My crockpot gets a lot of usage. But today I think I just want tuna or chicken salad something cold. Wish I had some tomatoes

Sharon my husband would love to have been in Bucks shoes. Dh loves bass fishing and to see the pro's is awlsome.

We didn't go to the campgrounds this weekend. We spend the weekend at home getting things done. Dh and his cousin power washed the deck next week we will stain it. I spent this morning cleaning my house. I vaccumed the swimming pool and enjoyed the water.

Patti, we haven't turned the A/C on yet. It is 90 here today but there is such a nice breeze off the lake. And it isn't humid here. Green Bay was humid and so hot that Buck didn't stay for the weigh in. He was home early. He said he had enough of the heat. He wasn't going to stand outside for hours watching them weigh fish. It will be on TV next weekend anyway.

Charlotte, Buck does a lot of bass fishing. These last two weeks were really special for him. I am glad he got to do this. He was thrilled about it. However, when he got home today, he said he had enough. It was windy on the bay and he said he took a beating out on the water with high waves. He got soaked from the water splashing over the bow into the boat and he had to hang on so tight that his arms and hands just ache. And his legs also. But it was an experience he won't forget and there are good memories.
He is very tired. Do believe he will be in bed early.

Here is a pic of Buck and Skeet Reese waiting to launch the first day on the Mississippi last week.

With the humidity here we would not be able to handle it without A/C Panda included. And we have fans on in what ever room we are in.

I have been so lazy today. Sitting in front of the tv. I have got to get myself moving.

Lauri not sure but think it will be either 6th or 7th of Sept unless they are taken already.
Thought you had my address but will send to you.

Sharon I showed my dh the picture. He loved it and wish he was sitting in the boat.

We are heading to the campgrounds for a few days. I have to work today and 1/2 a day tomorrow.

Not much else going on here. Trying to stay cool with this heat.
