This week has been cool and windy. Have gotten a lot done outside but still have a lot to do just to get things in order and weeded.
We do have the veggie garden in.
Had to go to the dentist yesterday for teeth cleaning.
Had to wear a heart monitor for 30 days. Sun. will be the last day for that.
Am on a beta-blocker.
Do feel better than I have for several months. Was in the hospital in April.
Have to get caught up on the May thread. Have some read but not all.

June hopefully will be a quiet month for us. We have a wedding anniversary coming up at the end of the month. Our youngest granddaughters birthday is on the 8th. I have to get a box together to send her this weekend.

I am down south at my sisters a few days. My BIL Ernie has been eating healthy and has lost a lot of weight, has more energy then he has in years. He has been giving me some encouragement. I found out my blood pressure was high at my last physical so have been eating healthy for a week now......so far so good. Less salty foods are not as bad as I thought they might be. I can still stand to lose 30 pounds too. My problem is I never stick to anything.
My sister and I walked around the lake last night. I learned a new card game with my nieces called Phase Ten! Fun!!!
Am munching on an afternoon snack, salt free tortilla chips and frozen red grapes! Yummy!!!!
Donna good on your BIL losing the weight. YOU keep up the good eating and more walking around the lake. Sounds very nice. We are on a Tornado watch till 2a m. This ole gal does not plan to stay up till then but who knows. Took a nap earlier and when I woke up found out we were in a tornado warning but that was only for almost a half hour yet. Sharon glad you are feeling better. Wish my hands were but this rainy weather does not help them or my hip. Take care all and God bless

Patti-hope it dries up some so your hands don't hurt so much. Hope your tornado watch is only that and nothing comes of it.
We've been having some breezes but nothing major and we haven't had any severe watches in our area, but north and west of us have had plenty. Some people still think that we'll get some rain here sometime tonight, but I don't think so, wouldn't mind a little bit though.
Train-glad you're having a good time at your sisters.
Off work today and didn't do anything really, off tomorrow too. Dh and I will be attending and helping out with Stormfest 2012-an event to help people learn about hurricanes and severe weather and give them resources to call on if needed. Going to have some fun. Another member of our volunteer group will be riding into town with us, maybe a friend of hers too. Afterwards I'll go over to Dad's again and make out some of his bills for the month.

I'm still up rain had stopped but just heard thunder so guess it is starting back. My eyes are tired but trying to stick it out till 2. Going thro' my All You magazine I picked up today. Part of the coupons I will put in envie for Norma and some for me. Reading other parts of it and that will help pass the time IF my eyes can hold out
