Connie-hope you enjoy your girls day out. Been here 19years but haven't really had one of those yet-no friends really, go out occasionally with dd#1-used to go out with Mom till she passed, take Dad to dr now-that's the extent of me going out anywhere-other than work. Don't really mind but it would be nice to have a friend or two I could count on to call and get together with. Oh well, enough of that.
wondered why I hadn't seen any 'friendship' posts-guess I was subscribed. Getting ready to get to bed but wanted to post a bit. Took Dad to dr yesterday and everything seems to be fine, as usual, it was also the 2yr anniversary of Mom's passing-he realized that when we were on the way to town, but he was Ok with it at the time.
I've been decorating more at work, mostly cupcakes and cookies.. all that standing in one place is really taking a toll on my back though; probably would help if I lost some weight, but I don't know if that's going to happen. I'm kind of hoping that I don't have to worry about decorating tomorrow so that I can move around more and exercise my back more, we'll see.
dd and I are taking decorating classes-just had our third one Tuesday and we had to make a Fan Cake. Had to bake a 9x13 cake at home and cut it into a fan shape in class then ice it. We had to make at least 20 roses in advance for the cake, with the piping it is kind of gawdy but it was good practice. I'm taking mine to work tomorrow since we have two-can't eat two especially with such sweet icing. Next week we're going to practice different kinds of flowers and others icing tips. I'll try to post a pic of my cake.
My sil is still waiting to hear about a job with a company he worked with 2 years ago. They're supposed to be opening up new line and he was told that he'd get his job back-but he calls and leaves messages and no one calls back. I'm going to remind him to call again in the morning.. I think he's actually calling too late in the day-but they should still get his messages..
Just saw on the news about the man stripping and going into a Walmart in Exton-not sure of the state. Looking at the film people were just walking around him and not really paying him any attention. Since they don't have people greeters at the doors anymore there was no one to try and stop him from entering the store.
Well, heading to bed now, take care everyone.
Pam

Connie lunch sounds like fun, I don’t get out to a girl’s day too often any more. If we go to lunch or dinner it is usually couples.I’m glad the problem of babysitting was solved

Patti glad you are feeling better

I ‘m grounded for the next few days. I took a nasty fall getting up to go to the john last night. I tripped on the blanket and went into dh’s chest, taking the walker with me. I can’t get up myself with the darn rod in my right leg. I have a huge bruise on my knee and it is really swollen. God was good as nothing is broken. Looks like another weekend of no church.

Cau glad you aren't hurt worse. Does your church record the service?

As for the babysitting... I don't know if the mom realizes we won't be sitting anymore. She will have to figure it out.

Pam we still have greeters at our Walmarts. Did
not see that news.
Cau sooo sorry you fell. I have come close to
tripping on my blanket when my foot does
not come out from under like it should.
Headed to kitchen to get my cauliflower
cut up and in steamer. Will only have BIT
of salt and pepper with bit of NO SALT Butter
on it. Not sure what else for supper but
trying to curb carbs and cholesterol so being
careful. Will not hurt Judy either to eat this
way

Some of us had a veggie dinner. There was some leftover chicken and hamburgers so they got ate up. Gregg is very hungry for raw cauliflower. I will check at the store today but last time I checked it was $5 a head. The prices here are so ridiculous.

Hi everyone, just dropping in for a quick hello. I'm having comp problems, suppose to take it in to the comp doc the first of the month. I'm just hoping it doesn't take too much to get it fixed. He thinks I have a bad(or something like that) spot on the hard drive. I finally got in here today, I haven't been getting emails from here or anything so didn't know what was going on. I hope everyone is doing well. To those that are sick or not doing well, my prayers are with you. May God bless you all.

We are doing alright. I'm down in my back again and Jerry still hasn't quit smoking. He does have an appt with the smoking cessation clinic on Tuesday, the 21st.
Hugs, Paula

Hope Jerry will quit for his sake and yours Paula.
Went out this afternoon with Gina to Michaels and we stopped back by Bay Haven and got stuff to
bring home instead of eating there. She bought stuff
to make things a bride would need/want and some
more beads for bracelets etc.
I just got thro' peeling eggs and making Deviled
Eggs. Back is hurting big time from standing
while peeling and hands/fingers likewise.
Am headed to bed and my book as hoping to
get to church in the morning that is what the
eggs are for our Fellowship after service.
So good nite and God bless all

Cau sorry to hear you fell, hope you're doing a bit better-will continue praying for speedy healing.
Patti and Connie cauliflower sounds soooo good, most of us love it here-raw or cooked. I bought some frozen cauliflower with broccoli the other day and it was pretty good-fresh is totally better though. Might pick some up tomorrow to go with whatever we have for dinner.
Back's been hurting for a few days now, worst on Wednesday night and Thursday; a bit better today-seems like a lot of it may be caused by gas-don't know why though. Tylenol does seem to help very much though.
Rain has started-might turn into a storm, we'll see tomorrow. weatherguys are talking about major storm coming through here and/or it turning cold enough to have some snow Sunday night.
Paula-will continue praying for you and Jerry-hope he can find the will to quit smoking.
take care, stay dry and warm
Pam
