What is on Your Nightstand?

A while ago we had fun with what's under the car seat.
And again with what is in your purse.
HOw about we take a stab at What is on Your Nightstand?

For me, and I just cleaned it off, too!:

a box of kleenex but minus the box, not sure what happened to that one!
an alarm clock with a mini weather station on it
a Kindle and charger
a book I haven't finished, and its only 90 pages...
a book on how to improve my memory
a book called Raven: the Wolf Bird
an eyeglasses holder
a phone and answering machine
a lamp with a nightlight and reading light
a book on Lewis and Clark, only reading excerpts from it as dh has read outloud most of it to me already
and a deck of memory cards
oh yes, the SAT vocabulary book, only because I want to keep exercising my mind...

How about yours? What is on Your Nightstand?

I have a small little stand that was my grandmother's that I use as a nightstand. I think that it's one of the only stands in the house that isn't piled with stuff. lol!

On it there's a cord for my iphone, a charger for our home phone and a small alarm clock....that's it.

A stack of books to elavate my lamp, box of facial tissues, eyeglass holder, battery alarm clock and a wind up clock, coaster, bottle of water, flashlight, box disguised as books to hold everything out of pockets every night before a shower, asthma meds, and my handgun.

That is only when I'm in bed in case it is needed! Otherwise it is on my hip in its holster.
