Right now I'm reading The Thorn by Beverly Lewis. It's the beginning in a trilogy of books and yes, it is an Amish book.

I read Pickwick and Oliver Twist eons ago but they are the only 2 I have read of those.
Read The Thorn too Paula as well as rest of the series. Like you love my Amish stories. Have others
I like too but Amish are my faves

I have the other two books in the series and I'm going to read them when I finish The Thorn, Patti. I just LOVE the Amish books. They completely take you away to another world.

You are so right Paula they do "take
you away". I enjoy the characters in
all of the Amish stories. I like Wanda's
Beverly's, Beth W, Cindy's Jerry Eicher's
to name a few writers

A lady at our church started a book group and they decided on "Courageous" by Randy Alcon for this month. I tried our local library that said a large print edition was available but the librarian couldn't find it, so I may look for it elsewhere.

The ladies had also mentioned "The Titan" by Fred Mustard Stewart that I found on their sale rack for 50 cents. Has anyone read it?

I am reading Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet but can't remember the author at the moment. So far it's great.

Reading When the Heart Cries by Cindy Woodsmall an Amish book. I recently read two Love Inspired Historical Romances forgot the names but they were older ones published in 99 and 2000. I got a bunch of them at a thrift store as well as have some of the current ones. Will read thro' them slow but sure
Happy Reading all
