Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!!

Wow!! Can't believe it is Dec already. Don't know where this year went.

Everybody got their shopping finished? Or almost finished? I don't have much shopping to do.

Thinking of putting my tree up but that is as far as I have gotten.

25 days until Christmas! (or since the day is almost over 24) I have hung a wreath - that's as far as I have gotten with decorations. I have done maybe 1/8th of my Christmas shopping and every weekend seems to be getting filled with obligations leaving not much time to shop. I will be doing quite a lot online for sure! I have a funeral to go to in Maine this weekend so that takes up most of Saturday but I do hope to get up my outside lights this weekend and maybe do a little cleaning/decorating inside. Not sure how all my little ones will do with a tree this year so may have to gate it off some how. It's going to be interesting for sure. Each year I swear I am going to be more prepared for the holiday season and more organized so I can enjoy the season and not be stressed and once again I am so behind. Oh well.

Baked cookies with my dc children today and they had so much fun. Even the tiniest tots got to pour and stir. Then I sent more of the cookies home with the children (saving 2 for ds2 and 2 for dh). The children were so pleased they got to take them home to share with their parents. I have decided to stop eating meat. I am not going completely vegetarian but am trying to become a pescatarian (no meat but will eat fish and seafood) I am thinking it might be a bit healthier and help me lose a little weight. We'll see how this works out. DS1 is a vegetarian so he is coaching me a bit. Well, off to make dinner. Hope everyone is having a good evening.

went to town with dh and bought the part we need for our dryer.. hopefully sil will replace it tomorrow and then we'll not have to jump start it to dry clothes; there's a part we need for the washer too but we can live with that for now.
Stopped at Walmart and got a few groceries-hopefully it'll last until I get paid or until we get our food stamps 'cause I really need my money for a couple of bills and my layaway. Rest of my Christmas shopping will be done a few days before Christmas when I get paid again. I'm hoping to get my dgd a karoke machine.. have seen one for $50 at two different places, just hope I'll be able to get to one of the stores to get it. I'd like to get one for me too.
need to get Dad's supper together and head to his house for a bit, take care all,

Wow Christmas is almost here! It never feels like Christmas because there is no snow. You would think after over 20 years of living here in Florida I'd be 'used to it' by now. But nope every year I still long for snow. I am getting my tree this weekend.

Today started off cold, and by mid day it had warmed up to the point I had to run the car a/c for a short time.
The neighbor and I had lunch together today, went grocery shopping, then I had to go and get my health insurance card and almost forgot to do that, if I had I would had to re do another application to get back on it. so I'm thankful it came to me that today was the first.

Last night was another Red hat fun evening, normally we do not do it on Wed night but with Thanksgiving and some were booked before Thanksgiving so we decided to do it on a Wed. We went shopping at a place called Charming Charlie, it was really neat. It was mostly a jewerly store but they sorted all thier stuff by color... so if you want purple you would like in the purple section. you wanted red, you would look in the red section, and etc.. Found some really cool things but to me it was a little pricey and I wasn't going to spend money on it. but looking was FUN..
then we went up the street to a BBQ place called Hot Red Blue BBQ.
We all was looking and then one of the ladies decided to get the big pototoe when we all got thinking it sounded good to all of us, so that was what we all got. I've seen some big pototoes but this one was BIG, and it came with a meat chopped up into the pototoe of our choice, I got smoked turkey, oooo it was sooooooo soooooo good. Then thier sauce.... soooo good, but boy am I'm paying the price today from it... but don't requet getting it for it was sooooo good.

Then we all sit and talked and had a good time, even planned for our Christmas party.. It will be over at someone's house, and we will be doing a white elephant Chinese Christmas exchange, and a cookie/candy exchange we will all make 2 doz of whatever to exchange with eveyone else. Then afterwards we are going to go and look at Christmas lights.
We are hoping Gloria will be back but am afraid she may not be.

Her dad went to the dr today, and his bandage still need changing every single day, and he cannot do it.. so it means she could be there for Christmas. HE said no she will be on the plane heading back here on the 15th but she thinking if she can get home it be around the 2oth... so we still not sure.. My heart just sank as she told me that...

I'm learning how much she has wrapped my heart up in sisterhoood/friendship... and thanking the GOOD LORD for her.

I'll be getting the girls on Sat morning to keep all day and Sat night then they will go to church with me on Sunday.. Also learned they will be moving again shortly... I sure hope all this moving won't mess the girls up in their Task testing if they are involved with it this yr. They are going to be moving back into the area they were in at one time, I think, which is to far for my liking.... but it doesn't surprize me. I think I was prepared for this to happened again.. but doesnt' mean I have to like it.

Sammi I got the tree up and decorated and that is it.

Felcia here in PA it has been in the 60's don't feel like December in PA right now.

Everone else sounds very busy.

We finally have the house back in order. Now to get ready for Christmas. I have a lot of shopping to do yet.
