Sandie, I hope you get in the Christmas spirit, it's just not fair to miss it. (((((HUGS)))))
Kids are funny. I have four, two boy, two girls, the oldest boy, 29 was quiet, shy and never gave us any problems, until he hit the teenage years. Then he started dropped out of high school, started drinking, totaled our van, got caught giving alcohol to a minor(had to bail him out of jail), he was working two jobs, then he fell in love. He settled down paid us back for all we'd had to spend on him, got married to a wonderful woman and now has two little girls of his own. He has a wonderful job, he's a pipeliner and right now he's working in PA. He'll get home for Christmas on the 21st and leave on the 26th. Oldest daughter 27, always very outgoing and friendly, didn't give us any problems until college, then she started skipping classes going home with her boyfriend while his parents were out of town working. She finally finished one semester, found a very nice guy and fell in love, got married and had two little girls. She also has a very good job here in town. Youngest daughter,24 gave me he**! Never wanted to go to school, called me everyday to come pick her up for some reason or another from school, decided she could finish school if she went to a different school, cost me almost $600 for her to graduate but she did. Got involved with a guy that gets high or drunk and decides to take his anger out on her, got pregnant by him has a beautiful little boy and still lives with the guy but she finally has a job that's here in town. I keep Grayson for her while she works. We get along wonderfully now. Youngest son, 22 was the best one of the four when he was a child but he grew up to be a he**raiser! He went to jail so many times I can't even count them. He's been on house arrest for a year, he's on probation for 4 yrs, well 3 yrs now, but is finally getting his life together. He got permission from his PO to move to North Dakota, works in the oil fields up there in the environment part most of the time. He has a little boy that is just precious, he will be 21 months old next week. He will be home for Christmas on the 21st and leaves on the 26th. He is very loving again and settling down more. I pray that he will continue to settle down even more.
They are all four so different it often amazes me, but I love them all and I would do anything for any of them. I guess we all would. They are four of the best kids around!
Hugs, Paula

The kids stories are wonderful thanks ladies. It just is amazing how we all had kids try there wings and get settled and work things out. So take a little longer then others.
I went to my ds #2's house last night. It was my dil's birthday. So took a small gift and card over.
Dh got all the ring bolognie done. Will vacuum seal that and the sausage tonight.
Felica, cong on the new computer.. glad you got one since it was causing problems to your eyes, that not good.
Kids... how they do can and do change.
Sat morning I picked up the granddaughters and we went to a ladies bruch at church, did a calender chinese christmas. the old gd (chynna) stole mine, LOL, and had so much fun doing it. I got another one and it was stolen, in fact not sure how many calenders I got before I got the one that I ended up keeping.. It was a 16month one and the theme is Fuzzy Friends (dogs) of all kinds.. The girls had trouble knowing to keep thiers or to trade with me again. LOL.. but decided to keep thiers which was on dogs and cats.
When Chy stole mine I was expecting it as I stole it from someone else as I knew they wanted that one.
They are going to share it and then give one to thier mom, which they were able to steal to get a Lighthouse one for her.
Food was delicious but ate to much.. like always. LOL
Then we went to the grocery store and home.
They had fun playing my farmville, and then we watched movie, and they went onto a dog website to look at dogs. So we had a good time.
Yesterday was a bad day for me.. Lost my cool with the dogs, just wanted to go and hide under the covers but I didn't. Just one of those days, that nothing seemed to work out right.. We all have them I do believe.
Gloria is still gone but it does look like she will be back for Christmas. Her husband was going to mail her gift but since it looks like she be home, he is not.. she is going to love it...
I'm working on getting my Christmas cards together and already got her signed and ready to be mailed. I feel if I'm going in more directions that I care to, but that life for me in the fast line.. LOL..
time for me to go and get another cup of coffee so will sign off for now.
Hugs and friendship
Ps. as I was seaching the web for something I ran across this cute craft that you could put cookies in or send a gift in.. so I'm sharing it with you in case you might want to fix one up yourself.
Barb it is really cute, and you are right we all have bad days.My old dd , who we always tease about being bad at sharing was nice enough to share a very nasty cold with me, my dgd and youngest dd.I feel lousy!
My middle dd was my problem child growing up but is the most successful and together one now, you can never tell
Youngest is going through a divorce, she knows it needs to be done but she is having a hard time with it. I think admitting her dreams are over is the hardest for her

Good Morning Everyone!
It's a beautiful morning here, the temps in the mid 20's with an expected high in the upper 30's to lower 40's. Anyway, I thought I would post here before Grayson gets here. That wind is soooo cold out there. It feels like it's blowing off ice!
Jerry is up and seems to be feels pretty good today. He has shaved and cleaned up so that's good.
I've got some cleaning in this house I need to do and I also have some gifts that need to be wrapped. I may not get them wrapped until tonight, as I'm sure Grayson will want to help me, LOL and I just don't think that will work out too well.
Colleen, I'm so happy that you are feeling better! It sounds like you are really in the Christmas spirit with all your cookie and candy making. I'm going to do some baking and candy making but will wait until closer to time for them to be eaten. I don't want to gain any weight by making them now. I am trying to avoid temptations as much as I can. It's also helping to keep my diabetes under control.
Sandie, I hope you're getting in the Christmas spirit at least a little bit. I went out yesterday afternoon and bought some more Christmas gifts. It's getting hard to find just the right gift when the only place you have to go is WM.
Barbara, that is really a cute idea! Yes, you are right, everyone has bad days. It's so good to hear that Gloria will be able to get home for Christmas! I'll still be praying for you, Gloria, her dad and her hubby. I pray you all have a blessed and Merry Christmas!
I hope everyone else is well and having a wonderful CHRISTmas season! Please take care, stay safe and keep warm.
Hugs, Paula

Christmas time is always too hectic. It goes by so quickly. I still have two boxes of gifts to ship to my out of state children. I think I will have to plan a better way to do things next year. Make sure the out state gifts are mailed by the first week of dec. Hate to be late.
This year in my neighborhood there are more christmas lights up on houses. I don't know if its because most houses are rentals and so we get new neighbors often or if ppl have more money or just plain ole more christmas spirit. But it's nice.
Nothing really new in my part of the world. Hope you are all enjoying your month of december.

Woke up this morning with the neighbhors tree across the road right infront of our driveway. They came and moved the tree with a backhoe right before I needed to get out of the driveway to go to work. Thankgoodness.
We got 19 rings of ring bolognie and 20 lbs of sausage from the deer. Now we are vacumm sealing everything and freezing it.
Both my bosses are not in the office today. So I am swamped with stuff. Time to get off of here and get some more work done.
I've been super busy with christmas stuff and an unfortunate family situation. Today is very overcast and chilly even so I can hear the neighborhood kids outside playing. I hope everyone is enjoying their December.
