ouch Sammi, my mother wouldn't let me drive her car let alone get a license until my older sibs were gone, two sisters and a brother with an accident on his record, she couldn't afford the insurance for me and I sure couldn't do it...jobs for girls back then were very poorly paying

so I didn't get licensed until I was 20 and home one summer and had some student teaching in front of me the following year...I took drivers ed through some guy who gave official lessons in a labeled car...the first time entering on the entrance ramp to the turnpike, oh my, no AC and the windows were open and the noise really shook me out of my seat! but no crash and I made it through that bit....

our kids in PA have to do 50 hours, each type of driving has a minimum number of hours associated with it, the supervisor driver can be 21 and I don't know how long they have to be licensed for...
