Connie, glad you are feeling better.

Patti, hope you are not in a lot of pain.

Bar-bar, glad you had time with gd's

Charlotte, hope you get all the wires fixed soon and can repair the siding before winter hits.

Dval, that is a lot of work to put all that stuff out for Halloween but it sure does look great.

It was raining today but now it has turned into big wet snowflakes. Up north they had winter storm warnings for last night and today. They got up to 7 in. We are not going to get that much. Maybe a couple of in. Time will tell.

Got my car back. They replaced a relay switch that has to do with turning the gas line on. They are not sure that was the problem because every time they went to start the car, it started. But they have had cars in that had that problem. I agreed they should replace the switch because that could be what happened. They said sometimes that switch sticks and the gas doesn't come in. When we tried to start the car, it wouldn't even fire. So hopefully it is fixed.

We are flipping out tonight. A package was at work for Ty, from his mothers church. We don't know all the details until Ty gets home from work either.... The package was a care package from his mother's church. Full of every nut, peanut butter thing you can imagine. We need to figure out if this was done on purpose or not. I am so upset. IF this package would have came to our house, my daughter would be dead.

OMG!! Connie so happy it did not come to your house. I hope he washes his hands well don't know if that would matter or not.
Am not in too much pain right now and very thankful. My skin is so thin now so does not take much to "rip" it and now have bandaids on both left and right fore arms closer to wrists.
Judy and I got our hair cut hers really needed it mine was just longer than I wanted it. So now both of ours is SHORT. Stacie cut it for us she is a beautician. She will be having her ankle surgery on 17th and we did not know if we would be together anymore between now and 14th so did it today. 16th I will be with Gina for Kent's eye surgery so would not be available that day and 15th she has something so best today.
Hope all reading this are feeling better God bless all

Patti; So sorry you are in so much pain.

Connie: I sure hope that a church organization did not intentionally send a 'care package' containing nuts. That's horrible. Glad you are healing and like you new place of work.

Dval: I would love to see your house on Halloween night! Maybe someday the housing market will pick up so I can actually sell my house and move back to Ma.

I am going to the humane society today, my dd Alexis wants to adopt a kitty.

I love this time of year but boy is it busy!

Patti, is it Gina’s septum that they are fixing? I had a deviated septum that had to be fixed years ago so I could breath though my nose. Not a fun surgery but it sure did help. Great that you were able to find a nativity scene for Stacie. I have been looking for one for awhile but haven’t found the “perfect” one yet. What a nice thing for Steven’s troop to put out all those flags. I hope the pain in your hands gets better. fficeffice" />

Connie, I hope your recovery continues to go well. You are so nice to teach the two children you care for how to sew. I hope counseling will help Ty to deal with his depression. It sounds like he has been through a lot. He is lucky to have you and your family to help him. And that is so strange about the package with all the peanut products. Very scary. I sure hope it wasn’t intentional.

Pam, glad your dd is at least trying to help out financially. Glad to hear you now have a better car. Hopefully you did not have a big mess to deal with when you went back to work. Sorry to hear your have such early hours for Black Friday.

Felicia, glad you are enjoying your cooler weather. Here it has warmed up to the 60’s – not our typical New England weather as you know. Did you get a new kitty? Every kitty I have ever gotten from the Humane Society has been so sweet.

Sharon, I am so glad to hear your doctor sent you to a good specialist to help you with your hip. Sounds like it is helping and I hope it continues to get better. Glad you got your car fixed.

Sandie, I am glad you only lost power for a short time during the snow storm. Can you believe there are some who still don’t have their power back in MA? And how could that son not know enough to check on his mother??? I know when my mom was alive I called her several times to check on her anytime the weather was not good. And I am doing the same thing for my older nieces and nephews for Christmas this year – giving gift cards so I am sure they can get something they will want. Glad Darryl has a new job. I know the traveling in winter will be tough but hopefully he will stay safe.

Charlotte, hope you have gotten your house back in order and your power lines fixed. We had the same thing happen here – a big branch fell and took down our lines.

Donna (dval), Your house always looks so cool for Halloween. I love it! Sounds like you have a busy vacation but hope you have a great time at your Women of Faith event. I am sorry to hear about your kitty not being well. I hope the vet can help. I have a cat who is 17 and “boney” but so far she still seems ok. It is so hard when our fur babies get older.

Bar_Bar. Hope Gloria’s dad continues to get better and that she will be with you and her dh for Thanksgiving.

This has been been the worst week so I am glad it is a short one. I have one little dc child who is into something every second and when she isn’t into something she is biting someone. Normally I can curb a biter before it happens but she seems to bite unprovoked just out of the blue so I can’t always head it off. She also torments my cats so I have to deal with that too. It makes for very long days. I tripped over something dh left out the other day and hit my head so hard I saw stars and jammed my thumb and fell on my butt. Definitely not graceful that’s for sure. Now my thumb still hurts which is driving me crazy. I have had a dc child (not always the same one) wet through their diaper several times this week making for complete changes of clothes. Dh got a flat tire yesterday and had to go get it fixed. We think someone may be putting nails in our driveway as this is not the first time this has happened. We have an evil neighbor who lives next to us and it may be her but not sure. She is the meanest, most vile person to live next to and it makes it hard some days. Dd got a suspension at her job for a mistake she did not make so is now afraid of being fired. And the list goes on . . . . Ok, I am done whining now. On a lighter note, I have tomorrow off so have a long weekend!!! Dh leaves on Saturday to drive to Illinois with his brother and sister to help his other sister move back to Maine. They will be gone 3 days and back either late Monday or early Tuesday. I am so happy my sil is finally moving back and also happy to have a 3-day weekend. Well the way I see it, after this week things can only get better – right? Thank you all for letting me vent. Off to make lunch for the tiny tots. Hope everyone is having a great day!
Oh, and on a good note, one of my dc mom’s brought me a DD coffee this morning. What a blessing as I sure needed it today.

No the church is NOT responsible. Ty's mother is. She knew the church was sending a care package, she gave them the address.. she didn't bother to explain the food allergy. She is also very close friends with the lady we had to press charges against for trying to cause a reaction. I think instead of pulling in the police we will talk to the Pastor, he has offered to help. Write kind letters to Ty's mom explaining how this looked, how dangerous this is and go from there. I think a Pastor may do more good than the police.

Felicia please post photos of the kitty!!

Thank you Felicia and all who have commented on my pain. Today so far is not a bad day pain wise. Going with Gina to her shop over at Ellens. Taking a book to read just in case they get to talking and no work being done.
Tummy is not happy today tho' more later and Sammi hope the biter quits. A child bit Gina in the
small of the back (how I don't know) and I bit him
litely back. He never did it again least not to her. I told his Mom what I did she was not mad.

Hi everyone, Im still shaking from some news I just got, but thanking God my grandaughter "wasnt" involved. Last night my gd asked my dd if she could go to the Mall with her friend, and said her older brother was driving them. My dd said no because she hadnt done her chores, and it was a week night, end of story lol. Well her friend called someone else to go and the 3 of them took off to the Mall, and they were hit head on by a drunk driver. One of the girls was airlifted to a Boston hospital, with a broken pelvis, and internal injuries, the other 2 were taken to a local hospital, one with a broken arm, and one with head injuries. Thats all I know, I was in tears when my dd called me awhile ago, but as I said as bad as I feel for the others, feel so blessed my gd wasnt there. The guy that hit them had to appear in court this morning, no news yet about that.
I hope they dont just slap him on the wrist and let him go, I think they should be more strict with drunk drivers in this state.
Sorry I didnt read back any posts to reply to anyone I just had to post and get this out, I have calmed down a bit now, gonna go and clean my other freezer out. Have a nice weekend all!!

Sandie how horrible BUT as you said so thankful

pray for these young people.
As far as I know will not be leaving the house today. Got to put some "day time" clothes on lazy here still in gown.
Thanking God for all our past and present Military who have fought for us. Proud that both my Dad and Pop were military men, 3 brothers, both hubbys and likewise uncles and an aunt. God bless them all and the countless others out there protecting us
